Bought 2 of these phones. Trying to activate on Tracfone. Unsuccessful because the phone is shipped with a Net10 MEID Sim Card. Chat with Tracfone resulted in being told this over and over "NET10 is a registered trademark of TracFone Wireless. You may refer to them on this package. The phone is a branded NET10." The BestBuy page says NOTHING about Net10. This phone will be returned tomorrow and the store manager will NOT be happy to see me.

Excellent device... Optimum for minimalist usage..

I have been a loyal Net10 customer for about 5 years and purchase a new phone each year. I wanted to "upgrade" from my prior Net10 phone which was an LG Ultimate 2 L41C. I had watched tutorials and phone reviews online and read the reviews on bestbuy.com before purchasing in a Best Buy store. My fiancé and I both purchased the same phone--we are BOTH having the same issues. The first big issue is that every time we talk to anyone, they complain that they cannot hear us and that we sound like we are far away or going through a tunnel--every time!!! I feel as though I have to yell into my phone just to talk with each call. Also, the screen constantly freezes, doesn't matter if using the network or using Wi-Fi. I am very disappointed, if my old phone was not wore out I would go back to it. We both feel like we wasted $200 on these phones and for us who are on a limited budget, it is VERY FRUSTRATING that we are now stuck with these phones until we can afford new ones. Will NEVER buy a Samsung again. Have always had great luck with LG.

gave it 3 starts because i cannot use the phone yet as i cannot transfer my days and minutes to this phone. so once my minutes from my current phone run out i will activate and try it out. i was under the impression this was a phone i could transfer minutes with. but this one is one you have to purchase a monthly plan, which i did not read anywhere in the description or overlooked it. once i use the phone i will update my review. i would not recommend at this point if you want to be able to buy minutes whenever you want .

I too am having a issue getting this phone to work on the tracfone system. If the tracfone representative can help me like the above best buy customer, that would be great. I want to transfer my old phone to this new phone.
