Great for small spaces
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are looking for a router that will travel all over your home....this isn't the router for you. I live in a home and it has five bedroom that are upstairs and then a big living room, kitchen, basement and dining room. The router was place in the living room, which allowed me to travel to the kitchen but when I would start to go upstairs or down stairs the signal started to weaken. Once I was completely upstairs it would cut in and out. So for me it was aggravating because I thought it would allow me to use it all around the home. The set up for the machine wasn't too hard since it came with instructions. I couldn't get my router to work wirelessly in the beginning but I did plug it into my computer and took that route to get it up and going. (FYI if you have to go this route having a MaC computer will be difficult since it doesn't have a place to plug the E-internet cord.) I would only recommend to a friend once I disclosed the router needing an extender to reach all around the home.

Great modem, most of the time...

Our internet service is already at super fast speed, so I don't see any reason why there is the occasional slow down. For the price, I expected this modem to perform amazing, but it performs okay. It serves it's purpose.
