This is one of the best 3.1 DOCSIS Modem that could support up to 2.5GBPS internet service or maybe the only one modem in 2023. This Modem is better and more stable than Arris S33. IMPORTANT: this is a modem and modem only. It doesn't have a router, wifi or phone service. You will need another device for those functions like a Netgear Nighthawk RAX series wifi router if you want to stick with netgear. as a cable modem it works just fine and fully takes advantage of my 1GB service, my provided by ISP modem was flaky from the start. The gigabit Ethernet ports act as one through link aggregation. they do not function as a switch allowing you to connect all your devices through it. I knew this but forgot when i was setting it up and was running in circles for 30 minutes or so. All of the ports on the back are yellow which in consumer devices usually indicate this... no idea why I thought this... being an experienced network admin... i guess we all have moments :-) Put one ethernet from one of the ports into your router (sold separately) from there plug in your devices in to the router To take advantage of the other three ports you need a router/switch that supports link aggregation. This feature is only useful if you have internet and/or networks speeds over 1gb. It would've been nice just to have a single 2.5/5/10gb Ethernet port rather than four. another nice plus is the dedicated power switch. Haven't had to use it yet but nice having it there for when i do.

Our internet provider was upgrading the speed we were able to receive, but our older Motorola surfboard cable modem wasn't able to handle that upgrade. We recently upgraded our wireless router to a Nighthawk so decided to stay in the same Nighthawk family with this cable modem. We are now able to reliable capitalize on over 200+ MB download speed and 16+ upload speed. We've both worked from home for 15+ years so powerful and reliable cable modem service is a must. We've used this modem for nearly a month with no issues.

Solid modem with an easy installation. Had issues before with Netgear devices but it looks like I will be using them again. So far this has had no issues in the past 2 months of use and honestly the connection has been great (I have Comcast... shocker right?) and I couldn't ask for any better performance I am getting from this modem. Would recommend to anyone needing one.

I recommend the Nighthawk CM2000 when used with a mesh system, such as an Eero 6E which I've used with speed tests averaging 380-400 across a two story, 2400 sq.ft. house. The Nighthawk CM2000 modem is best when using a mesh system, since a router-modem will pose issues in signal conflicts of two competing routers. Terminology

This is a modem only. I use it in conjunction with a Google Nest mesh system. This is compatible with Xfinity, and I was able to do self-setup through the Xfinity app. My internet speeds have increased, as my old modem was only capable of 300 Mbps. This modem does it's job seamlessly.

Excellent modem, very easy to install and configure. After few minutes, it was running. My internet speed was exceeding my expectation, i expected 400mbps, but i got 448. My only regret is i did not buy it earlier.

Short Review: This will likely get you the speeds you’re paying for, and yes it outputs 1 Gbps speeds without issue. I tried a “cheap” modem (around $100) and got at best 500 Mbps. I tried Xfinity Complete Modem/Router and got at best 700 Mbps. With this I easily get a fairly consistent 900+ Mbps (Paired with the Netgear AX4200 router and Xfinity 1Gbps plan). If you have a 1Gbps+ Internet plan I’d highly recommend this modem.

From the beginning of the year, I’ve been having sketchy service with my Internet has Comcast has made a lot of changes which aren’t all the greatest. Having Comcast and Bestbuy out to find out what the problems are. Didn’t get much luck.. decided to upgrade my equipment so far everything is just running perfectly smooth no buffering whatsoever pictures great my equipment will be paid off in no time. My Internet tripled with the last mode of my head, and even more went up. Surely not disappointed, and it was easy to set up.

Easy to setup, and works on Spectrum. I performed the 30/30/30 reset (Google it), turned it off afterwards, and connected the coax. Turned it back on and called Spectrum. Up and running in 15 minutes. performance is awesome. Delivery was amazingly fast. Thanks BB.

I Owned the arris surfboard sb8200 Docsis 3.1 modem, let me tell you this nighthawk modem blows it out of the water, my internet speeds, Download speeds heck everything is way faster now, I highly recommend this modem.

It’s fast! Use the nighthawk combo and getting great speed. Needed to replace a modem that was dropping signal. This worked great. Easy to set up. Cooler in temp than my last surfboard modem.

I haven't had any issues so far. Worth every penny! I got tired of slow wifi and got the modem and the router combo as oppose to all in one and I've witnessed great results in terms of speed!

I did have to call my ISP but it’s real easy. It boots up so incredibly fast. No problems at all connecting to a 6e Mesh Wifi System. I didn’t want to pay the price, but it was worth it. Not even a hiccup out of this. It’s nice, compact, light, and can fit anywhere.

This Netgear cm2000 modem is almost twice as fast as my previous Netgear modem. I also purchased the Netgear Nighthawk rs700s router. I purchased a new HP Omen gaming computer so I figured it was time for an upgrade, and I made the right choice.

This modem is absolutely amazing! I’ve used other modems in which port aggregation was required, and this was extremely fast right out of the box!

All I can say is OMG finally found a modem that’s actually fast with no problems what so ever,I use it with the Orbi 6e mesh system and I get super fast speeds in entire house around 1200 download speed and 37 upload speed.
