So I have had the Netgear- Nighthawk BE18000- WiFi 7 Triband system for the last 3 and 1/2 months now. It's running a 2.3gbps fiber network. I got it specifically for the WiFi 7 capabilities, for the max download and upload speed of 19Gbps on WiFi 7, it has a 10gbps ethernet port which works flawless, the rest of the ethernet ports are 1gbps max. It also runs the max WiFi capabilities of all your devices, so by device it will automatically change to either WiFi 5, WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, and WiFi 7. The 3 bands it offers are 2.4GHz BE: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 4096-QAM 20/40MHz, up to 1.4Gbps
5GHz BE: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 4096-QAM 20/40/80/160MHz, up to 5.8Gbps
6GHz BE: 4x4 (Tx/Rx) 4096-QAM 20/40/80/160/320MHz, up to 11.5Gbps
The processing speed of the the BE18000 is phenomenal I runs a Quad-core 2.6GHz processor. It can handle up to 200 concurrent devices and it handles them flawlessly. I have about 25 devices connected to the BE18000 and they are all different bands and GHz's but it handles them fast, cleanly and efficiently, I have not yet experienced any issues in this area. The Max range is 3500 square feet due to the 12 WiFi streams. It also has 8 high power internal antennas with high power amplifiers. It's also VPN ready as well, as well as MU-MIMO capable, it also has uplink and downlink OFDMA and the memory it has is a 512MB NAND flash and 2GB RAM. The last thing is setup and it is so easy to set up, just download the NighthHawk app and follow the steps on the app and it will be up and running in 5 minutes with the firmware updated. The Security manager is Netgear Armour and it offers a variety of security services and in my experience it is great and has worked awesome for me, it has stopped over 85 different scanning and probe attacks on my devices. So you get 30 days of Netgear Armour for free with the BE18000 and then after the 30 days it should cost 50$ for a year which isn't bad and you get good tools from it, so in my opinion it is worth it alot of people will disagree or criticize me for it but it comes down to personal choice, look at everything it offers and what your needs are and if they align or if you like the features and software, you have the 30 day trial use it to see it's worth it to you. So all in all I love this router it's everything I wanted and needed and then some. Hope this helps I tried to be specific and cross reference my data so it's accurate. Sorry for the lengthy review but I hope this helps you guys that are on the fence or looking for an upgrade!

Set up was nice and strait forward. Was able to configure the name, password, and guest WiFi from the app. It’s nice that it automatically assigns which frequency to place a device. My PS5 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro have noticeably better speeds now that WiFi 6 is used. Able to handle all my devices with ease(20).

This modem/router combo actually delivers what most others only promise. I have gig+ internet and I’m finally seeing full speeds on both wired and WiFi connections. Uploads and latency are noticeably better than my previous Netgear setup. No sudden drops, no overheating, and no random reboots even with multiple smart devices, TVs, cameras, Xbox, and work VPN running at the same time.
Setup couldn’t be easier. Scan the QR on top, connect, activate with Xfinity, and done. No headaches. The LED indicators are very clear and useful not just decorative lights.

Overall, it has been a nightmare to try and get hooked up and going. It doesn't like to cooperate through the app and there are many others like it close to the same model/serial #. Your provider might just look up the item and log the wrong product into your account. Honestly, you'd be better off just getting a modem/router combo.
We'd like to follow up with you regarding the installation experience for your RS600, please reach out to us at [email protected] with your contact information, and we will be happy to help you.

Excellent router. Works great, fast, secure and provides outstanding coverage in my 2700 sq ft house. Nighthawk app is very helpful for ease of setup and use. Best Buy was very helpful during the sale also.

Really not bad for WiFi. Within 40mbs~ of Ethernet. Actually very impressive. Decent house coverage. In a poor location in my new house at the moment and still able to reach the other side of a 2700 sq ft area. Connection a bit slower on the far other side of house, closer to 500mbs instead of 960, but that’s par for course and most likely a result of the weird spot it’s in. 8k streaming works fine with multiple devices running. Again, pretty cool for WiFi.
Difference between this router and previous 6E router was substantial, 350~mbs, if that matters to you.
Also doesn’t look like a weird crystal monster, like some of their others—might be a plus or minus if you like that kinda thing.

It replaced my aging 9 years old netgear nighthawk which was showing its age. I tend to future proof my tech buys and compared it with similar specs of other companies. Given my previous experience between Netgear products especially the installation process/phone app.
The installation was breeze. The increased speed was noticeable and range is quite decent. Previousuly, I would not get stable connection 20 meters away from house now it works like a charm. I also like no wings/arms unlike old netgear router. The speeds are more noticeable on iPhone 16 and Galaxy S25.
It comes with 30 days of Armor trial too.
Only con is the price.

I’ve been using my Netgear router for over a year now, and it’s been a solid performer. Setup was straightforward—just followed the app instructions, and I had my network up and running in under 15 minutes.
The WiFi coverage is excellent, easily handling a two-story home with no dead zones. Speeds are consistently fast, whether I’m streaming in 4K, gaming online, or working from home with video calls. I’ve connected multiple devices at once (phones, tablets, smart TVs, laptops), and it still runs smooth without lag.
The security features are also a big plus. I like the parental controls and the ability to pause WiFi on specific devices. The Netgear app makes it easy to manage everything remotely.
Pros:
• Strong, stable WiFi signal throughout the house
• Fast speeds for streaming and gaming
• Easy setup and app control
• Good security and parental features
Cons:
• Slightly bulky design
• Occasional firmware updates needed for best performance
Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable router that can handle a lot of devices and deliver strong, fast WiFi, I’d definitely recommend this Netgear model

Aweosme router I bought to replace an original Google WiFi mesh system that died. Decided to buy a nice router this time around and install it in the room that is the center point of the home. I’m glad I got a new router instead of a new mesh system and don’t regret it one bit. Have plaster walls throughout my single story 1600 sq. ft. home and get great speeds in every single room. Have Spectrum 1gbps service and over Wifi I am getting around 900 mpbs in the room furthest away. Out in the front and back yards have decent coverage I’m getting 200-300 mpbs which is much better than my old Google Wifi where coverage and speed where nonexistent. Don’t make the mistake I made. I first got the RS500 model but for about $100 difference It’s worth to get the RS600 because it will provide you a bit more coverage which affects the speeds as well. I noticed the improved coverage in both the front and back yards. Also bought the CM3000 Netgear Cable Modem and they seem to be working perfectly fine together. Setting it up was pretth easy with the app. You won’t regret it.

This Wi-Fi access point is a great choice for anyone with a home office. The setup process was straightforward and fast—I had it up and running in under 15 minutes without any issues. One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to aggregate two Ethernet ports on the router for connecting a local network drive. This feature significantly improved performance, especially when multiple users were accessing the network storage at the same time, resulting in faster data transfer and a smoother overall experience.

Title: Works Awesome
Description: I recently purchased this Netgear RS600 router. I have been using an older Netgear router I purchased 6 years ago. I never had any issues with the old one, until recently a couple times it needed reset, so I decided to update my router to the newest model. This new nighthawk RS600 is awsome. My family uses about 18 different devices ( we have 5 4K televisions, printers, laptops, tablets, ring cameras, my new refrigerator even uses wifi) I have my router set for it to automatically pick the best channel needed. I am very happy with this purchase.

If you use Xfinity you may be forced to resell your wifi as a Xfinity wifi hotspot. There is a place in the app where you can opt out but mine turned itself on 3 times in a week and I replaced their gateway with this router and the cm3000 modem. This is a fast and reliable and you control your internet and wifi.

Title: Nighthawk BE18000 Great Improvement
Description: Since purchasing the Nighthawk BE18000 I have seen better reception on my devices. With my previous router, I needed a wifi extender for the TV in the Florida room. With the BE18000 it is no longer necessary. I receive an awesome signal in every room in the house. I would recommend this router to anyone looking for greater strength.

Simple setup but you must follow the directions and procedure. Performance was a substantial upgrade. Range is better but still has limitations because of inbound location. Still worth every penny so far.
