This router is way much better than my last (mesh type). Installation was easy, and it worked seamlessly. Not only did it meet my ISP’s projected gigabit internet but exceeded the expectations. Strong signal anywhere in my 2-bedroom condo. Look no further and get this router.

We upgraded our old gateway to this router paired with a modem from our ISP. My family is impressed by the faster speeds and increased range over our old model. This works well for our 1500sf home. Would recommend!

This router is my second nighthawk. My first lasted for a long time and when it was time to replace, I knew that I would buy another. The app is also helpful when trying to diagnose an issue with service.

Had the router for a month and it's provided much better signal all around the house. The blink doorbell has much better signal now.

Its definitely better than the router it replaced, however the 2.4ghz seems to be pretty bad. Note: i live in a singlewide trailer that is 56ft. The router is almost dead center. For whatever reason the speed and connectivity is completely unstable in my master bedroom. 5ghz works perfectly there and further. I primarily upgraded for the processor and the fact it advertises to handle more devices than my previous. All in all its a decent up to date router.

Title: Great product at a reasonable price Description: Netgear Nighthawk RS100 is a router for those who want wireless tech without the high price tag. It’s compact, affordable and offers faster performance than many older routers. Good speed for streaming, conferencing and general business internet needs. Great coverage for my office which is 1500 sq ft. Bottom line is that it offers solid baseline speed for everyday internet and internal networking. It was super easy to set up . ( I configured it through the IP address not the Nighthawk app.) Bottom line: entry-level Wi-Fi 7 performance at a low price.

Great product with insanely fast speeds. My townhouse is about 1,600 sq ft and I have no issues in any part of the house. I like to game and get pretty competitive, and this router has been incredible. Zero lag and smooth connection. Also, the app gives you control over your connected devices and super simple to use.

If you have more than 10 devices in your home, this router is the one for you. Even if you don’t have that many, this router is outstanding. It’s the best “bang for your buck” option on the market in my opinion. This is the router for anyone who has video games being played in one room and streaming going on in the next. The dedicated app makes changing network settings and running diagnostics super easy. There are a few drawbacks. 1. Setup through the app is a little bit of a pain. I ended up completing the setup online instead. Once that was done it’s been smooth sailing ever since. 2. Range is “okay”. If I’m more than 3 walls away from my router I notice a speed drop. Nothing major but it’s worth noting. 3. SmartConnect Feature is not great. This consolidates the WiFi bands into 1 network and then the router delegates the bandwidth accordingly. I recommend turning this feature off. Overall this is a great router and I’d recommend picking one up if you’re in the market!

Setup was fast and painless—I was up and running in minutes. The router itself looks sleek and modern, not something you feel the need to hide on a shelf. It’s been a perfect fit for the size of our home, with strong, consistent coverage throughout. The companion app is a nice bonus: easy to use, informative, and actually helpful for monitoring and managing the network. Overall, a solid upgrade and well worth it.

I was searching for a router for my mom and I knew absolutely nothing about them but that I didn't need to do fancy things. I did some research on Best Buy and chose three different ones online to pick up in the store so that I could see which one that the Best Buy employee recommended most from my choices of affordable ones. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to, and assuring so that I felt confident that he knew what he was talking about. I chose two TP routers and one Netgear because of their reviews. I have had Netgear in the past and have liked their products but I was willing to try something different if it was better technology. When I showed the employee the three that I had chosen he immediately went to the Netgear as his first choice because of quality, features, and endurance without breakdowns or problems. You can just install it and almost never have to worry about it again until you need a new one because of necessary updates in technology. I personally chose the Netgear first because it had a good rating, was compatible with Spectrum Internet, and was on sale for my moms budget. I am a dummy when it comes to electronics so I was a little stressed that it would be hard and complicated. Thank God it wasn't! I followed the easy instructions. I downloaded the app. I got the Internet up and running within minutes. I love the app! It has a lot of great features and the process also registered my router at the same time. The password was easy to set up. I love the ability to quickly check my Internet speed and how it has a special feature already installed for daily safety checks. The app has more things that I probably will ever use, but just knowing that I have it there to use and that I can easily get help there brings peace. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Setup was exceptionally fast and easy through the Netgear Nighthawk App. Immediately our internet speed and connection service improved tremendously.

this thing is working really good, i wish it would allow you to change the name of the router at anytime instead of it taking forever to do so. but its got good range and great signal.

Honestly didn't expect much. Old router died and it was on sale. I was pushed towards a app to setup but was able to do so directly and not have to setup an account. I was getting decent speeds but nothing great. All devices were able to connect without issue. Later I noticed increased speed as it adjusted to the best channel which was great. The firmware updated automatically so that was good as well. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Nice performance upgrade from my previous Nighthawk (AC1900). Extremely light weight. I thought the Nighthawk app was a little clunky, but we got through it. Personally, I found it easier to bypass the app and use the routerlogin.net setup. One downside - because of how light this model is, the weight of the 6 cables (power, network from router, and 4 other network cables to various devices) I plugged into it makes it unstable. The cables tend to pull on the unit and make it want to tip over
