Has the feel of Cat Quest with some nods to DND. Purchased to play with my wife and daughter but ran into a issue or atleast confusion when compared to other local coop xbox games. Instead of letting other players hop in after turning on the controller and being a guest sign in, they need their own account seemingly attached to the main account. Not as immediate hop in but once that was sorted, we were able to play.
With shared inventory, it takes some time to get everyone suited up. Everyone levels up the same but there is a end of level scoreboard to see who did the most damage, got the most enemies, etc. Overall its a fun little game that is a basic intro to a RPG for a younger audience. Players use A to attack but can use the right stick as well. Haven't played enough to unlock the other characters but the starters are good, giving a variety of range and melee.
