I love this camera!! I upgraded from my Nikon D750 and as much as I love that camera, this was a game changer! Going mirrorless was a great decision for me as a wedding photographer. The speed and quality is definitely noticeable. The low light capabilities are also fantastic. It is super lightweight, too! Which I love for long wedding days. If you’re thinking about upgrading, do it!!

I don't usually write reviews, but read a lot to get perspective. This camera deserves a review, so here goes... Initial impressions are excellent. I've had many Nikons over the years. The last of which was the D200. Good camera, but doesn't compare to this thing. I bought the 24-70 F4s Z lens to go with it. Even got the kit price, even though it wasn't the kit (Thanks Best Buy!). Keep in mind this is initial impressions after one test shoot, but Wow! Great images. See my samples. These are straight from the camera, no editing. Setup was typical Nikon. Took 5 minutes to find what I wanted to shoot with (if that...). Great control layout. Logical and intuitive. The Camera has a very solid feel to it, without being bulky. The 24-70 lens also had a solid feel. I'd seen some reviews that claimed otherwise on YouTube. Feel it for yourself. It's solid, without being heavy. The new Z lenses appear to be the real deal. Yes, they're expensive, but good glass has always been. Autofocus worked really well, and is nearly silent. If there's a breeze, you won't hear it. Canon may have the edge, but Nikon's Autofocus is very capable. Don't mind the haters, it's very good in most shooting conditions, from what I can tell. After shooting in different modes (Program, Aperture, Shutter, and Manual), exposure values seem to be spot on, and tend to push the shutter speeds up, to allow sharp images. In body stabilization works well. I got tack sharp images at 1/40 sec. and wasn't thinking about posture. Nice. As for the resolution, don't talk yourself into thinking you need the Z7ii until you've seen some images from this thing. Very clean. I'll update after some low light shooting, but ISO's up to 800 are really sharp. Out of 56 test shots, I had 1 out of focus that was all me (not the camera). All exposures were good. I haven't even got into the video capabilities yet (which look to be quite comprehensive), but if it's half as good as the still image capture, it should be excellent. Nikon has a winner on its hands! Seriously, get one in your hands and try it out. You'll be glad you did!

The mirrorless camera is the best yet! The sharpness, crispness, and smoothness of the picture will blow your mind! Not to mention the touch screen that also can be moved gives a better view of your clients.

The camera is a huge step up from my D750 and takes fantastic photos. I shoot a lot in low light and I picked up a Nikor f1.4 85mm with the Z to f adaptor and the photos are stunning. It is lighter than I thought and the controls are easy to use. I really like the slightly thicker grip over the Sony A7IV. I don’t shoot much video so opted for this body over the Z7 ii. For the money, a great camera. I’m ready for Nikon or third parties to produce more Z mount lenses but the viltrox f1.8 in 35mm and 85mm work very well.

This is a great camera for professional photography. Nikon's colors are so gorgeous all around. The Z6ii is a fantastic and powerful camera. It is very user friendly, especially shooting in manual since it takes any guesswork away by displaying your exposure accurately in real time as you adjust your settings. The electronic viewfinder took some getting used to but is especially helpful as it displays all of the same settings and exposure as the LCD screen, so you don't even need to move the camera away to adjust your settings perfectly. The Z lenses really are spectacular, too. The FTZ adapter works well with F mount lenses, but I definitely recommend the upgrade to the Z lenses, it is absolutely worth the investment. The only ding I would give is that the autofocus definitely struggles and fights back at times. But that is pretty standard across the board for Nikon in comparison to Canon and Sony.

This camera has been awesome. Traditional nikon menu, super easy to use. The focus is fantastic and makes such a difference to workflow when coming from a DSLR. Screen not being full articulating is slightly annoying but in all honesty, I don't use the screen tilt other than when I'm taking wedding detail shots anyway.

The Z6 ii @ $1699 (sale price) is a pretty good deal for a full frame mirrorless body. I mounted the new 70-300 Z mount lens from Tamron onto it (also on sale @ $599). It is FAST with that 14 frames per second continuous shooting. That's going to be a huge factor when shooting sports. I also love that it has dual card slots. Having a backup memory card is an absolute must when shooting weddings, etc. I also have the Z50, and a D7500, as well. I prefer to keep a lens on each camera body, as I am not a fan of swapping out lenses, getting dust on your sensor, etc. So I'll pretty much keep that 70-300 Z mount lens on this body and use it for weddings, some portrait shots, and a nice hiking camera to mount to your chest / backpack in case you see something you want a quality shot of. Def happy with this camera body. Looking forward to years of use.

I love my Nikon camera – Z 6 II. I added the NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR telephoto lens to this body and the photos and videos are so bright and clear. I haven't learned all the bells and whistles yet, but I hope to have even more fun after learning them.

I love this camera! Yeah, it's pricey, but I really do not regret it. Photos are sharp. The camera is snappy. I had Nikon for 33 years, digital since 2001 and I finally have this same feeling of shooting film with a digital camera - with, of course the additional benefits of digital. And I am still discovering this amazing baby... I now need to name her!

Love it! Still watching some videos, reading online on how to use it and take amazing pictures with the Auto option. But learning to use the Manual mode. Been practicing a lot, very easy to go through the menu. The only thing i didn’t like was that it offered with the purchase 3 items. I cant find them on my purchase history and now it only show one item(google for 3 month). Very disappointing.
