This Z6 is completely a different kind of camera from your regular dslrs.. I have a D610 and I love them both.. I wish that theZ6 was more auto compatible with the awesome lenses I have.. But its always good to learn how to work that manual stuff!! the more brain power you have to use the sharper your mind stays!! Also I have old batteries for my Nikon d610 and I have noticed my older batteries last longer on the Z6 verses the new Batteries made for the Z6.. This camera is amazing all around otherwise!!! I brought the sleeve, lenses, extra batteries, card reader, and two cards for it since they are pricey.. With the picture below I used a T mounted vivitar 2300mm lenese for the moon!! It was a amazing investment!! <3<3

This camera is easy to use and takes incredible pics. I attached my old Nikon lens and FTZ adapter(sold separately) to this camera and got very good results. Auto-focus works well and relatively fast even with the attached FTZ adapter. Videos turn out wonderful with great audio. I highly recommend.

Hands down a great purchase. In body stabilization helps shoot at low shutter speed handheld and still achieve a sharp imagine in low light situations. Being invested in Nikon glass it is a plus to having the adapter.

A Very good camera. Coming from Nikon Film & digital I waited a bit to get into the mirrorless realm. I was not disappointed, when I decided to get the Nikon Z6. I can bore you with megapixel, etc but bottom line it gets the shots I need. The colors that the camera captures are incredibly accurate and vibrate! Then electronic viewfinder takes the most adjustment coming from the standard Nikon D500. Is it actually what the finished photo will look like! Only thing I would improve upon is the AF system, especially it crowded leaves and branches, you need to help it to find the bird! You won't be disappointed with the performance.

I upgraded from a Nikon D90. I was looking for a full frame camera in my price range that I can use for sports photography and general photos. I use a lot for indoor ice hockey and outdoor lacrosse. I have stuck with Nikon as they were always better for use in low lighting hockey arenas that are challenging to take pictures in. My pictures are much brighter once I learned the manual settings mode and learned the new functions that differed from the D90. The battery does not last longer than 1 game and recommend a backup battery. I take in raw and fine jpeg so can share photos immediately. It is nice to have blue -tooth capabilities to post online shots immediately on social media. I use with my older 70-300 mm f5.6 lens with the adapter and have had no problems. I would love to upgrade that lens in the future but will save for that next. I bought the Sony QXD card reader to quickly transfer photos from the camera to computer for editing which is much quicker than plugging camera into the computer.

Clear upgrade from my Nikon D750

I took the chance to sell my D750 and move to the Z6 and I can definitely say that it was a true upgrade. I got it for the video capability but I am finding that the still images are much better than what I was able to get from my D750. I have been able to get the exposure right in the camera, which leads to much lower need to edit the photos. I'm hoping to get a battery grip available for this camera soon but for now, I am definitely pleased. I've had good experiences with both indoor and outdoor settings.

I personally love this camera. I was looking for a upgrade from my old DSLR. The images are really clear and beautiful. The video is also clear. The different settings and modes are not difficult to understand. The price is great for the camera comparing to other options available.

I previously owned 2xD750's. Sold both for 2-Z6's. Was it worth it? absolutely! The 1 card slot is not a deal breaker for me. The new Z6 got 2 slots now. I won't go on and on about how good this is compared to the D750. All my F mount lenses focus a lot better and have a 99% hit rate. No need for focus tuning. I got tired of tuning every lenses on the D750. I will never got back to DSLR again. The D750 does track fast moving subjects a bit faster than the Z6 though, but still not a deal breaker. I've shot sports with the Z6 and did just fine.

The whole reason getting this camera is because my D750 died on me and I had to make a quick decision to get another D750 or upgrade to the Mirrorless. The picture quality is phenomenal, the speed is amazing, and it’s easy and versatile. Perfect for newborn shoots! The best part? BEST BUY had it when everyone else was out of stock! It was a brand new item that just hit the market and Best Buy had it when name brand websites were out. Way to go Best Buy!!!

I did a lot of research on the z6 before buying and I'm very very happy with my mirrorless camera. Nikon has never been very good for Video but this camera takes video to another level. The photos are amazing and as a whole, this camera feels like an extension of the user. Quick or in-depth menus, the customization allows you to make this camera all about you. In short: If you want an incredible camera, this one will not disappoint. If you shoot Nikon or are looking to move, you should look at the z6. I did for months, and this camera still has me going wow!

Currently use a D3X for landscape, long exposure, and portraits and a D700 for sports and theater. I have not had an opportunity to try the Z6 at any sporting events so I cannot comment on fast focusing or tracking fast moving subjects. I have taken the Z6 camera out to shoot waterfalls and it performs wonderful. One of the main reasons for having an interest in this camera is because of all the focus points; covers almost entire sensor. This makes framing a scene very easy, especially if your focus point is not in center of frame. The other feature that I was interested in was the Silent shutter; really works in this camera. The Silent shutter combined with the vibration reduction makes shooting slower shutter speeds handheld very easy. I did not purchase any of the new Z-Series lens. I chose to purchase the FTZ adapter. All of my F-Mount lens work with no drop in performance. Controls through touch-pad are very handy and easy to navigate. Even though the camera is much smaller than my D3X or D700 w/grip, the Z6 is very easy to hold. Purchased a L-Bracket from Kirk; mounts to FTZ Adapter and works as advertised.

Absolutely everything I was looking for in the camera, the online reviews scared me a bit about the battery life but I was able to take close to 2k shoots before the battery died. Ergonomics are great and just simply amazing to hold in your hands. Low light performance simply is incredible.

I’ve been shooting with two D3S’s for quite some time. Decided to try the new mirrorless Z6 and love it. Lightweight, great performance. Getting used to the smaller grip size but miss the D3S grip. Beautiful images! Works great with my Nikkor lenses. The menu is taking some getting used to as well. Some things are too far buried.

I've not had as much time as I'd like to use this camera yet but so far I really love it. The video it records is beautiful and my images are sharp and with beautiful color straight out of camera! It's lighter and easier to hold than my d750

Easy to use, nice build and good weight in the hands, If you don't have Z glass you can use the FTZ adapter for the older F mount glasses which work fantastically, The eye tracking can be hit or miss though, other than that its really good just didn't cut it for me
