For those that enjoy a caffeinated beverage, whether it be in the morning, mid-day, afternoon, evening, or whenever you would like a coffee or something a little more unique, this Ninja Coffeemaker has got you covered. From making a simple carafe of coffee for multiple cups to frothing up some milk to make a specialty drink. Simple to use, yet sophisticated enough to complement your kitchen and other appliances. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Using the carafe that comes with the coffeemaker will make about 10 cups of coffee. The coffee maker also has a Brew Strength Control, so you can decide how strong you would like your coffee. Cleaning up is simple and straightforward and with a detachable water tank, you can ensure you're filling up to the amount of water you want without overfilling or spilling on accident.

Overall very good performance, however after 6 months it quit brewing. Called customer service and they sent me new updated unit minus the pot, etc. Very happy with resolution and new unit works perfectly.

Makes great coffee but it won't brew a full pot. I set the dial to full pot and it brews a partial pot. I always have to run the brew cycle again to finish off the pot. Very annoying.

Most of my coffee is made on the way out to work. Haven't used all the features but I like that it's single serve is easy. The mesh filter is quick to empty.

    Best coffee maker ever...UNTIL...

This was the best coffee maker ever when it worked. Sadly the service and excitement was short lived. The first one I had to return after 4 months and one day. It stopped completing a brew cycle and leaked water all over the counter. Thank God for the protection plan. After 16 months plus a few days the second one decided to end its terrific service for me. The leaking of a little water on the counter has ALWAYS been an issue, but yesterday morning, the "stop drip" STOPPED working. This morning it is not completing the brew cycle and I can hear the sizzling of water on the hot plate, more than usual... here we go again. I believe it is still covered with the plan, but do I want to really go through this again? For the price, it should last for more than two years, I cannot even reach that deadline. If you purchade this short lived service providing machine, purchase the protection plan with it. You will eventually be relieved that you did. Sorry Ninja, I want to be faithful to your brand, but this is not the only appliance that has disappointed me. The attractive design of the appliances coupled with the claimed service to be provided is not worth the consistent unexpected disappointment.

It started as a great coffee maker but after 5 months and cleaning properly it died. Ninja sent a new one but the same issue occurred.

This unit does after a year and a half of regular use, just 6 months out of warranty. Out of nowhere it would stop mid-cycle and beep like it was done with only a few tablespoons of water in the carafe. Support was unable to provide a solution but did offer me a "special discount" on a new machine which, with shipping and taxes included, was only $10 less than what I paid for the original in store. I don't think it's worth it. I'm not looking for a new coffee maker.

Stops making coffee after 10 seconds

I thought that Ninja was a good reliable brand, didn't think that I needed the extended warranty. I was wrong. Got it right before Christmas as a gift for my husband. Worked great for several months. Out of the blue, it stops making coffee after 10 seconds. Clean button wouldn't turn off, figured out how to fix that after looking at reviews online. Can't figure out how to fix the problem of shutting off after 10 seconds. I've done everything and read every review. Waste of money. Keurigs suck too. Went through two of those taking a crap on me before I said never again...Going to stick to old school coffee makers that will last more than just a few months.

I'll be honest. I've only used the special features a couple of times. Sometimes it takes a little while to preheat so I use it less and less.

Not very happy. This is my second Ninja and I've had the same issue with both of the units. After time my reservoir starts leaking from the plastic. I don't know what happened I have it filled to where it's supposed to be and I have a huge mess on my counter and my floor and two times I think I've learned. I'm going to look for something else

I've had my NINJA Coffee Bar for two and a half years, and I'd gladly give it a perfect 5 star rating IF it didn't have one glaring issue - it leaks! If you browse reviews and comments you'll see that this isn't a small issue, it's a known defect, a mechanical and manufacturing flaw, and to the best of my knowledge NINJA still hasn't corrected it! I run the 'clean' cycle on a regular basis, never over fill the reservoir, have the machine sitting on flat surfaces, dock the reservoir securely, and have been having periodic leaking issues for a majority of the two-plus years I've owned this product. Last night I got home from work to see the reservoir had leaked and emptied into one of my wooden IKEA kitchen shelves which had completely warped into an arched shape as a result. Fortunately I have a spare shelf, unfortunately this is a common problem. Stay away from this unit until NINJA addresses the issue!

We have used the Product every day for 50+ days and every week it tells us to run a clean cycle which the cycle is 2 cycles. Each cycle takes over an hour each. The Warming plate is not real warm, and does not keep a full pot of coffer warm/hot for the 2 hours. Will always need to microwave coffee to get a hot cup. I am investigating to switch the product out back to The Cuisinart brand, the brand that has served us fine for twenty years.

OK, I didn't expect to get too excited by a Coffee Maker but this thing rocks! We have already purchased another one for our kids and are planning a make-your-own-custom-coffee party at our house for the holidays. This is one of those rare products that impresses you with its well thought out design and quality build. It starts with the sturdy packaging and good documentation and continues with its extensive features. Even a little thing like an included coffee scoop with instructions embossed on the handle and a dedicated spot to store it in speaks to the excellent design. And the coffee it brews? Excellent! Multiple options for brewing strength, serving size, and hot or cold brews and all without the mess, waste and cost of individual K-Cup pods. The addition of a built in frother is the topper. This is not the stand-alone, manual device that is offered with some other models. This is a powered attachment that is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store away when not needed. In summary - if you are a coffee person who is spending too much with your local Barista, you owe it to yourself to look into this!

Loved it at first. Worked great for the first 6 months. Then one morning it just didn't want to brew, It would start to brew then after 10 seconds it would start beeping and stop brewing. I looked up the warranty info and it's seems to be more aggravation then it's worth to get it fixed. So lesson learned...I wont be purchasing anything Ninja products again.

A Coffee House on your countertop

Before getting my Ninja Coffee bar, I read a couple of reviews and a few people stated it was cheap plastic. WELL, I'm happy to say that in my honest opinion, I think it is pretty well built and looks great on my countertop! Doesn't take up much space either. It does have steam that comes out from the top so it's probably a good idea to pull it out on your counter a little while brewing if it normally sits directly beneath a cabinet/cupboard since over time, the steam may affect your cabinet....But that shouldn't be any problem for anyone at all. Just like most coffee systems, it has a delay brew setting to set your programmed time to start so you can wake up to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee. But it also has many other unique functions/settings. I'm impressed with them all. You can make regular cups, XL cups, travel mug and XL travel mug sizes or even a 1/2 carafe or Full carafe with a simple selection! You can even choose the strength and type of your brew with the other simple touch settings such as: Classic, Rich, concentrated specialty and even ICED & Cafe Forte!! It has a convenient "on-board" measuring scoop stored for all your measuring needs (stored on the side) and what I call "A Bonus", a milk frother that you swing out and is attached to the side(which by the way really works super!) Now I can start experimenting with a bunch of specialty brews which I really like but hate to pay the high prices for at a coffee house (plus driving there) I was using K-Cups or going out for my specialties BUT NO MORE! The K-Cup brewer is now unplugged and I've bought myself a few bags of ground coffee and Im now enjoying all types of brews and specialties in the comfort of my home on demand. A recipe book was included with 20 specialties. No more driving and waiting! Plus I'm now saving a ton of $$ to boot! I love both Hot & Iced coffee and I guarantee this Ninja system will be making me a more serious coffee connoisseur for sure! I believe that as long as the internal parts are of high quality and it is used properly and taken care of, this machine should last a good long time
