    Excellent stationary bike

Prior to purchasing this stationary bike I looked through a lot of reviews and research. Hands down this was the platform I wanted. As I find there is nothing wrong with the other bikes out there I found this one to be the match for me. NordicTrack has a long history of manufacturing products and I found this one to be of excellent quality. It was easy to assemble once I had it in the room where it was going to be used. I guess the only minor downside would be the weight of the bike. To move it around frequently is probably not going to be likely. At approximately 110lbs find a spot where it can stay for a while. The IFit training membership is free for the first year and so far it has been a good experience. Not every ride on IFit is a home-run but there is enough content to keep me coming back for some time. As a person just trying to stay fit while my gym is closed, I can say with certainty, this was the purchase for me.

Pick up process was easy and a store employee helped me load it into my vehicle. Bike is super easy to put together and a great workout. Would be 5 stars however the seat is very uncomfortable for me and my wife. We ordered a new seat and now utilize the bike almost daily.

Great Cycle, poor advertising and customer service

The Nordic Track S22i is a great cycle. I love the automatic weapons incline/decline and resistance features ( I thought I would not like these, but they are great so far). My favorite feature is the world wide map feature allowing you to ride anywhere that google maps has data (including automatic incline/decline and resistance based on local elevations). Unfortunately, despite the fact that Best Buy continued to advertise (and sell) this cycle as available, they kept delaying my delivery due to shortage coming the Nordic Track. This have been a problem for many items during the pandemic, but if it is known that Nordic Track will not supply new units to Best Buy, then Best Buy should not advertise them as available. This is false advertising at least. As is was, my delivery was delayed 5 times and nearly 3 months. It was only after a very direct conversation with Best Buy corporate Customer service do my cycle finally get delivered, and that they finally showed the cycle out of stock on the website. Moral of the story, you’d be best served if you confirm the actual availability of items at Best Buy before you purchase, as their website cannot be trusted.

So I have had my bike for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. If you've read the specs you already know the basics on this bike. The hardest thing for me was choosing between this bike and that other well known brand so I am going to focus my review on why I am glad I chose this bike over another brand. The classes- I personally don't prefer studio classes. I love being able to ride through gorgeous locations with my instructors while still doing everything you would do in a spin class. I've been to Switzerland, Japan, Turkey, Spain, Utah, and Oregon so far and the instructors actually throw in tidbits about the location as you ride- you can also turn just the instructor down and cruise along if you prefer which I initially thought I might do but I find I enjoy the commentary and (albeit one sided) chit chat. On one bike ride the instructor paused to walk inside a 800 year old church carved into the mountain we were biking through so we could get the view which was very cool. Also the bikes generally end at a specific scenic destination so the whole time that you are biking you are motivated thinking at you are headed toward something such as a beautiful Japanese palace. The cinematography is fantastic it really feels like you are riding on your instructors hip. On bike rides through traffic I find myself swaying subconsiously to the side to avoid cars - it is that immersive especially on the huge screen on this model Also I have skipped around but many of the locations are in a series of 12 so if you find a place and instructor you like there are 12 different rides around that area so you can keep going back to your favorite places and checking out new sights there. The timing couldn't be better as I am (along with the rest of the world) currently sequestered due to Covid 19 and its been fantastic to still get to visit some beautiful destinations. BTW studio style classes are available but I have only done one and much prefer the outdoor style biking so I can't speak to the quality of those but it is an option if that is what you want to do The automatic adjustment- This is a big deal. it is so wonderful to simply focus on pedaling as the resistance and incline change to match your terrain and training. You just pedal at the suggested speed and you get the work out. I have done spin classes and I loved the calorie burn but not having to constantly adjust is just so great. Also because it adjusts automatically if you want to you can turn the instructor down entirely and just play your own music and spin away knowing that everything is calibrated and your bike will adjust you through the workout. The Incline ability- the ability to incline and recline is incredible and really gives you that realistic feel as you explore your destinations- sorry to keep harping on this but the ability to bike down streets all over the world without leaving your home is just incredible. Ifit- I love the HUGE variety of ifit classes. I went through and favorited some the classes that looked appealing to me and I have enough classes to last for a year of riding 3-5 times a week without repeating. I also love that I got a family membership for a year included which the competitor doesn't offer- you start paying right away on the competitor for the monthly subscription. When my year is up I will keep paying and it feels very worth the cost. This bike was a big investment and I actually contemplated it for months before taking the plunge and I am now so glad that I did. I have been on this bike nearly every day. I have actually lost 4 pounds since I got this bike which wasn't even the goal- I just wanted to improve my cardio and switch up my normal routine- I happened to get on the scale just to see cause my clothes seemed to be fitting better but that 4 lbs was part of the same 5 lbs that I have been trying to lose forever and just wouldn't budge despite the fact that I already work out daily. That happened in 3 weeks with this bike ! Oh I do have to mention the one thing that I don't love about this bike- the seat. Whoever designed it must literally have buns of steel that it is borderline painful to ride on . My behind was numb post workout the first few times and I found myself pedaling standing just to give my booty a rest from sitting on the torture device of a seat. I remedied this with a replacement seat from an online retailer for under $30- I did have to use a wrench to adjust the seats attachment to get it to fit the bike even though it was supposedly a standard size but it is installed now and my rides are far more comfortable so budget in replacing the seat. One other bonus on this bike- changing out components doesn't void the warranty- if you try to change the pedals or seat on that competitors bike you lose warranty coverage Pedals that work with street shoes- This is minor but on that other bike unless you pay extra you have to wear cycling shoes. I didn't want the hassle of swapping shoes every time I jumped on Swivel screen- I love that there are yoga classes and you can swivel the screen all the around around after a work out and do one of the yoga classes on a mat because you can turn your screen around and a bonus I didn't even anticipate when I bought it. There are also cycling classes that incorporate off bike mat work but since I have been so in love with the outdoor destination classes I have not yet tried those as I still have so many destinations on my cycling to do list! I opted to get the geek squad coverage and had geek squad put ti together because the one common complaint I kept seeing online was about the manufacturers customer service and glitches happening that the manufacturer would not fix so I felt like geek squad was a good insurance against and would allow me not to have to deal with the manufacture. Of course, per Murphys law, I have had no reason to call because I have had no glitches whatsoever so far but I like knowing that if something crops up I have that option after having spent so much on this piece of equiptment. TLDR I love this bike, it was worth every penny, I'm super happy I got it, and I think it is better than the "other" option

So far so good, screen response is slow to taps and sometimes has to be tapped repeatedly. The in class is great controlled by the instructor resistance and incline happens automatically overall we are pleased. Note the OEM seat is the most uncomfortable we had to spend more on the bike to replace the seat which can be done . The family membership should be the free 1 year Split screen should be an option to select music providers pandora tidal etc.

I was extremely excited about this purchase and was very happy that Best Buy had in stock during the Quarantine. What I am not happy about is the terrible music during the ifit classes. There is also no Bluetooth so if you don’t want to bother the rest of the house you need an adapter. The classes are very hard, I’ve been spinning for years and don’t think I’ll ever make it to their leader board, so having it is annoying. The classes are at least 15 minutes shorter then I’m used to. So I wish you could use a different app on the bike. The bike needs to update often which is a pain sometimes if you’re short on time because you won’t be able to load any workouts until you do. The positives are the options to do the road rides which is nice to mix things up. I really like the changing incline but I find it’s not used much I NBC the classes. Overall it’s a lot of money to be married to an app that has some major flaws.

I debated this bike or the competition for a long time, and if it was worth the investment. It has been worth every penny. Initially I thought I would be more into the studio classes and my husband would do more of the trail rides. It turns out that we both love the trail rides so much more. There are different time lengths and the workouts go so quickly. I love that the bike raises and lowers as you ride and that the trainers control the resistance - which can be easily overridden. The fan is a game changer, when I really feel like giving up I can turn that on and be refreshed. As a busy mom, this has given me the freedom to work out, have more energy and do something fun for myself. Highly, highly recommend.

Bike is just great. Took a bit longer to assemble than originally thought. The pedals were the hardest to get on and work properly. Make sure you have the right tools before starting. IFit is a great way to work out and you get it for a year, free.

We have been on the fence about buying this, and finally bit the bullet and purchased it, and are so happy we did. With the one year free subscription to iFit it has really helped us get going with the bike and using it to the most of it's capabilities. This was easy to set up (we did it ourselves) and now we are able to get up each morning, ride, and go on with our day. This is a perfect option for those who want to work out at home, and want someone to push them as the iFit trainers are no joke! I am loving this bike and can't wait to hit all the goals I have set for myself!

Looked at Norditrack s22i and Pelaton. Better deals on this bike and it’s auto-incline feature is a feature Pelaton doesn’t have! Great super large screen and ability to position seat. Just like any Spin bike, the seat can be a bit hard. Amazon sells a gel cover for $11 that takes cate of that or wear padded bike shorts. We have 3 riders in family with range in age from 20-50 years. All love this bike, iFit capabilities allow for something for everyone. Best Buy has great discounts, rewards, delivery or financing if needed. Don’t hesitate....... get this bike!!!!

LOVE the bike and large screen, but the seat is horribly uncomfortable. Ordered a larger seat, but have not received it yet. As much as NordicTrack charges for this cycle, they should offer alternative seat sizes, or at least make other seats you can purchase separately.

Purchased 2 years ago, the controller just went out, the bike will not even turn on, called ifit & was told I was still under warranty so I PAID for a technician to come out and check what the issue was. I was told to call ifit back and they would order the part and send to me. I called back and was told I was NOT under warranty and had to pay the $157 for the part, so hopefully the controller is the only issue. Save yourself the headache. It’s not worth the $2500 price tag. You have to pay a monthly subscription ($45) to use the features, Bluetooth is a nightmare, connection & software issues. The “classes” are only available at certain times, and sometimes never happen. If I could go back I would have purchased the peloton instead.

I've had the bike since early May. I'm 54 and have been losing weight and getting in shape. I chose the S22i for the following reasons: 1,464 levels of resistance across 31 incline/decline levels. The incline and resistance levels always match the terrain I'm riding on. Free family iFit membership for a year which includes on demand scenic rides, and live/on demand studio rides. Ifit also includes yoga and strength workouts. Automatic incline and resistance changes. Not having to adjust anything and just riding organically is very nice. Asthetics and build quality. The bike will compliment any room in the house, and it feels very sturdy riding it. Automatic heart monitor integration. Polar H10 is recommended. Fun, immersive rides across the globe. Love the rides in Norway, Switzerland, France, Turkey, and Chile. Motivating trainers with a lot of knowledge. Riding HC Tour stages with Tommy Rivers has been a high point. Leaderboards. I tend to over do it a bit in the live classes because I want to win. Only negative is the seat lacks cushioning as it's a racing seat. I replaced it with a SR Lookin seat.

Prior to this bike, I never took a spin class and have spent very little time on a bike, but I am so glad I purchased this bike. I thoroughly researched this bike compared to the Peloton bike, and went with this bike due to the price, free year membership and several features that I felt I would like more than the Peloton. I love that this bike has the incline feature, automatically changes incline and resistance and has the option of google map type rides, not just spin classes. I really feel like the instructor adjusting the incline/resistance which has helped me to push myself farther than I would have if I was the one choosing the incline/resistance levels (you adjust it on the Peloton). I can't base the spin classes off other experiences, but for a beginner like me they are really good and give me a great workout. As with any bike, the seat is a bit rough so I would highly recommend a gel seat cover and padded shorts. It was recommended to me that with the seat cover and padded shorts to give it 10 rides before you decide if you need a different seat and I couldn't agree more - it was rough at first, but I got used to it after 4-5 rides and now have no issues. My other recommendation is to put a internet booster right by the bike - seemed to help load things way faster.

I am having trouble with the seat, keeps slowly dropping and not very comfortable. Also didn't know I would have to change out the pedals to use clip in bike shoes but otherwise I am very satisfied with the bike. The large screen is nice along with the ablility to turn it to do exercises off the bike is a nice benefit

The bike is great and definitely worth the value. The iFit classes are great and motivating. This was a good investment for my home gym and is helping with indoor training. Did run into a problem on install with the seat post and not being able to get it to tighten down. Multiple attempts and few google searches discovered it's a common problem. I'm not sure exactly how I adjusted it but it does work and did not have to get replacement parts. Patience is a virtue. Other than that, quick easy assembly. I did change out the peddles for clip in versus the cages that it comes with.
