I was a fan of the show from watching reruns. It's much more enjoyable to view without commercials and in order. I think the long wait to release episodes beyond season four was a mistake, but I'm glad that later seasons were finally released. I enjoy the dry humor and the ongoing background stories of the characters.

Dennis Franz may be the last guy you'd expect to star in a TV series but he carries it off as Andy Sifowicz, former drunk and racist cop turned into a heart of gold stand up cop. The series is all about emotion as opposed to simply solving cases.

We were waiting for NYPD Blue season 5 to come on DVD for a long time and it finally did. As soon as we knew it was on DVD we ordered from Best Buy website. We love this show and love binge watching it on the weekends.

I have been waiting for them to bring on more seasons of NYPD Blue for a while. One of the best cop dramas ever. Bring on the rest of the seasons!

It's taken years and finally NYPD Blue is being released on DVD again! Frustrating that it can only be purchased online though!
