It’s great that you don’t need a gaming computer, you don’t have to hang sensors on the wall and don’t have wires under your feet. My nephew has the above set up and it’s amazing, but I honestly can’t tell the difference. This seems just as amazing and you can take it anywhere and play anywhere.

I was hesitant to buy the quest just because I thought I might get bored with VR but so far I don't see myself losing interest. There are a lot of variety when it comes to the types of games and they have all been lots of fun. The wireless experience is better than PSVR in my opinion.

This is an excellent headset, with one major shortcoming. It's too face heavy. Feature-wise, it's the perfect hybrid between the original Rift and the Go. Initially, when you put it on, the fit feels very good, and it performs great considering it is a mobile processor. However, after only a few minutes the discomfort sets in. I have been using the original Rift and Go since they respectively came out, and have never had discomfort like this. I have done all of the tricks suggested online to adjust it, however, for me personally I either get a major pressure headache when adjusting it "right", or it hurts my face and falls out of alignment if I try to make it more comfortable. I REALLY want to like this unit, but the truth is I find myself going back to the Rift (for games) or Go (for content) more because I don't want to mess with it. I think there are ways that Oculus could have easily fixed these issues, but perhaps they were more concerned with technical specs than comfort, which is a fatal oversight. I may end up needing to just sell it unless I can think of a way to balance it out.

There is a reason this has been sold out. It’s incredible being cordless and portable and the games are so fun, especially space pirate trainer, Robo recall and Moss. Can’t wait for there to be more. If this is your first experience with VR and you’re questioning the purchase, don’t, it’s worth it.

This set is completely standalone, and many free games and apps are available each month. I’ve hardly purchased anything beyond the hardware and have had countless hours of fun with my kids. I had no idea VR was this far along, this is not your phone’s “VR” believe me.

I love how easy it is to use and how it doesn't require any cords to work! The screen is nice and vibrant, and there's a good selection of games to choose from. It's incredibly immersive and easy to lose track of time while playing it.

If you can find this thing in stock, buy it. No questions asked. No need to second guess yourself. Buy it. Everything about this headset is great. I honestly don’t have negatives. Maybe the only negative is that it makes me want to spend hundreds in games for it? Lol.

I’m a techie but didn’t want to deal with the hassle of VR set up. I prolonged getting a headset because of this. The quest gives wireless set up which is great. It makes it easy to pick up and play. The performance is really good but not as good as a pc VR unit. I highly recommend the quest!

I have been enjoying my time with the Quest and even with Quest 2 around the corner this is still a great headset on its own. Though it can get top heavy during prolonged playsessions, the portability and versatility are worth it The future of VR is here ,

Came in giving gift ideas for my girlfriend, as she wanted to buy me another gaming monitor for my birthday. I got distracted by the VR headset display and she was very confused what they were. She had never even heard of them before, so on a whim I snagged this unit. Simply put, Amazing. I've never done any sort of VR before, but this is something everyone should experience. It takes a little bit of tweaking and some after-market parts to make the units comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of times, but once you get it to the correct weight/balance, its quite comfortable. This product is well worth the money, and has lead to countless hours of fun already. Beat Saber is highly recommended for anyone, and it never hurts to get a few shooting games. Add in virtual desktop with a strong wifi connection and a gaming PC, you can stream directly to the unit and vastly expand the amount of games you can play.

The VR is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are absolutely fantastic. It is great that the VR holds the games this way you do not have to drag a bunch of games around with you. It holds a lot of games and it’s memory. It is worth the money. By the way I bought the VR with the most memory.

I was blown away by how realistic the environment feels when you play. So much so that I know characters are going to be there but still get startled when they're found behind me or grab me. It's hilarious! The weight is heavy on the head but if you purchase an aftermarket battery pack, it can be used as a weight counter-balance and offset the weight on the forehead. It feels so much better this way. Reminds me of the weight from wearing a football helmet in high school 28 years ago. Also recommend accessories to protect the face pad like a silicon pad cover, a clear hard shell for the exterior to protect the fabrics from getting filthy, and the silicon sleeves for the controllers. It can get gross quickly with oils from your face and fingers. I marked the quality as "Good" because Oculus made the system with fabrics instead of easy-to-clean hard and resistant materials.

I got one for my daughter for Christmas and we have been fighting over it, so I bought a second one. Now we play together. VR is really way more than the phones in the box. This is the next level. and if you have a decent computer, you unlock so much more.

I think this is an amazing system, using it for 3 days can’t get enough. So far the titles available are enough even for an experienced player. Much more to come as I’ve researched, I’m really excited. Some downsides are headaches after an hour use, motion sickness on severe movement but im hoping I’ll get used to it. Battery life is about 2 hrs which is good you can’t really play for too long without eye strain or strap discomfort. Can’t wait for an HD version

While I will be the first to admit that I know little to none about VR headsets, I purchased this one for my 21 year old son for Christmas. Over his break, I was able to use it a few times and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Considering one for myself now.

Kids really wanted this so they could do the VR Chat as well as have a completely wireless experience.. It is good overall. My only complaint is that it seems like there are far a few games for it, but the games we did get were great and the kids had a blast (Cant bash the device for content as this is a review for the headset itself).. Headset wise we love it. We feel the field of view on the Playstation VR is more open. This gives the feeling of looking outward from a boxed in area. We wish the field of view was wider, this would make for an even more immersive experience. Overall though not bad... What games are available are good and yes there are always more coming so we can't complain really too much here. A few recommendations, get headphone/earbuds for it if you live in a noisy/busy household Make sure to charge it daily we kill this thing twice a day.. lol

I have had the Quest for a few weeks, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied. It is easy to set up, comfortable to wear, and lots of fun. Lots of good free aps., and the paid games are very reasonably priced. The controllers are user friendly, and easy to get accustomed to.

Love the Oculus-so much fun! Especially Beat Saber and boxing. Haven't gotten into everything yet but I will. I really like that there are no connecting wires to get in the way. It is a little heavy in the front but a small price to pay. Definitely would recommend!
