Mind blowing

Great VR system

Excellent purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok... it’s not for everyone. Kidding, everyone should have one. You don’t need a pc to play with it, but if you do, you can play games from Rift I think. At $500 is almost a console purchase, the games are very immersive. When I bought it, I was skeptical, so I didn’t purchase the geek squad. A month after, I changed my mind, and it’s now staying home. I bought the geek squad protection for 2 years... why? The usb c connection in the headset seems a bit risky if you trust it to a 13 year old. To be safe, $110 for 2 years it’s a great value.

YMMV with comfort
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is HEAVY, I originally got it with a Link cable so I could run it standalone, via Link or using the Virtual Desktop Side quest mod to stream Oculus and Steam VR games to my headset over my network. Well it all worked great but due to the weight and lack of HALO headband it would always pull itself down and out of focus. This would also pull my glasses down with it further exacerbating the situation. In the end the setup was $200 more than the Rift S for some admittedly game changing features but the inability to keep it in place on my head defeats all of this since it needs to stay on your face to flex it's muscles. If you do decide on this headset consider a third party HALO headband to make it useable

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son has been asking for the Oculus Quest for a while now. We were looking at other VRs, but this one is the best. No computers and no wires. He loves it.

Pretty good but best....it's portable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite as good as the original Rift, but the fact that it's stand alone and portable is HUGE. I have the Rift and Go also. The Quest is awesome.

Very Good. A great entry point for VR virgins
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid piece of hardware. Cable-free VR with no need for outside cameras or sensors is an amazing feat and will certainly be the new standard for the future of VR. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the extra $100 for more hard drive space felt like a steep price.

Absolutely incredible!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for Oculus to come out with the portable unit. Once it did I was concerned if it would have clear enough graphics and smooth processing. I can not compare to other VR units, but this is incredible! Graphics are crystal clear. Gameplay is smooth. It is cool that you can cast your view to other devices (although their view occasionally lags). Being free from any wires makes game play easy. The system also does a great job of creating your safe perimeter. The only bad thing is leaving the VR world. Looking forward to more games being released.
