I think so long as you know what you’re getting and are prepared to pony up some additional cash to get full games you’ll be pleased. Unlike a phone where you can expect to access to plenty of free to play apps and games and to leverage your existing subscriptions and services or an add on for a PC where you can access cool new features of your existing Steam library, the Quest is better thought of as a stand-alone console. You’re in for another $30 at least if you want something worth playing- and more if you want some variety. That’s life at the cutting edge.

Great quarantine fun!

We use beat saber, box vr, and wander the most. Great workout for extremely hot or rainy days. If we were to ask for any upgrades they would be the following... 1) Battery cover tends to slide off when playing games. 2) Replacement or easier to clean face guard so multiple people can use it without someone else's sweat in it. A third party company makes them, however they are out of stock. 3) Antifogging when excessively sweating 4) More full games. Even with these requests, we would still buy this same model and love it. Great quarantine fun!

I questioned why they wanted this after experiencing one of the original pre-production Oculus VR headsets years ago and was a little underwhelmed. I’m blown away. Great choice of games, the optics are great, the ability to map your play area every time you play is easy and accurate. Highly recommend... wish we had two!
