This is the most fun I've had with entertainment technology since the introduction of 3D Home Theater systems! I am amazed at how quickly and completely your brain can be fooled into being immersed into believing you are ACTUALLY existing in this virtual environment. From traveling/trekking type adventures around the world (and in space!), to comical cartoonish adventure and puzzle games, to true-to-life simulation games of pinball, table tennis, fishing and boxing, you will be continually blown away by the VR experiences offered by this system! What sets the Oculus Quest apart from other VR systems is the freedom, portability and simplicity of a completely self-contained unit - no PC, no tether, no boundary poles. Simply turn it on, setup a safe zone by pointing the controller and "drawing" a perimeter around you (which you can see through the headset via onboard video cameras and an augmented reality grid), choose your content and away you go! There is already an extremely broad range of content available for free and for purchase via the Oculus store, which is accessible via the headset, smartphone or PC. And more content is being actively developed and released with increased frequency as this platform gains massive traction. Just go for it! If you're a lover of novel technology experiences that take you to the next level of excitement like me, you will be glad you did!

I've been interested in VR for a long time but was put off by the complex setup and the fact you have to buy an expensive high end PC along with a headset that is connected with a cable. Unbelievably, the Quest eliminates the need for a PC by using the built in mobile processor. I thought it would be a gimmicky and compromised experience but I was wrong. It's immersive, cable free and you can move around in all directions. While it's still not quite as good as a PC connected headset it's almost there.

Just got mine today let me tell you I own a PlayStation VR the quest beat the PSVR this thing is the virtual reality no wires. I spend 2 hours playing the demos and a game I brought. The only thing I could say is it’s amazing. I have motion sickness with the quest its a little more comfortable then the wires. I did get no motion sickness like I thought I would. If you have the money and want to try it don’t overlook the oculus quest. You won’t regret it

The Oculus Quest is the headset that brings VR to the everyday consumer. Without wiring and any complicated setup, you can just pick this up and start playing right away. Resolution could be better, but it’s on par with other VR headsets on the market. The only slight con about this is that the games offered for Oculus Quest are generally more expensive than other Oculus platform, and the annual summer sales that run for all other Oculus platforms doesn’t apply to Oculus Quest.

This is my first VR system, so I don't have much to compare it to- however, the graphics are great and it comes with some good free games and demos to get you started. I will say, the unit is a little heavy, but manageable. it is easy to use, 2 hours battery life, with the option to play wired as well. The whole family enjoys this VR system. SO MUCH FUN. I cant believe i went this long without owning one. :) seriously worth the money.

Title says it all: this is THE VR headset to own right now. The fact that it's portable, requires no additional hardware to run, many games are crossbuys with the Rift, the graphics, framerates, and motion tracking are all excellent, all for less than half the cost of a Valve Index make it a no-brainer. Also, playing games you've only ever played tethered with NO WIRES is like playing them for the first time. Have you played Superhot? No you haven't. Not yet.

I've had my Oculus Quest for about a year, with around 30-40 games, and I still enjoy playing it almost daily. VR is amazing technology and this headset pretty much nails all the key points: comfort, ease of use, captivating content and gameplay, durability, convenience (completely wireless)! Before buying this headset, I hadn't owned a console / played video games regularly in over 10 years. This got me back into gaming!

I current have an Oculus Rift prior to buying g the Quest. I didn’t have high expectations for the Quest but it has really surprised me. First off, the graphics are not bad at all. I love being untethered. The bonus with the Quest is you can stream your PC VR games using the Virtual Desktop app or an app called ALVR. The only requirement for a good experience streaming is to make sure your PC is wired and you connect the Quest via WiFi over a 5g connection.

This VR headset is super nice. It’s very comfortable, it’s easy to adjust, and it’s user interface is very easy to work with. The price point is a little high however. 399$ for the 64gb and 499$ for the 128gb. I got the 128gb version just to be safe but I think the 64gb version will be good for almost everyone. In conclusion, this is a great VR headset for anyone who’s new to VR and for someone that takes their things on the go.

First time VR user, bought this from studying reviews and the Oculus Quest is mind blowing. Some of the venue features could use a bit higher resolution but I'm blown away every time I pop the headset on. A MUST HAVE for the future of gaming is here. would like to see some more cross-over titles like No Mans Sky. Moss, Audica and other games are amazing. No hardware or connection issues, so far so great.

We are using it to stay exercise and stay fit during the stay at home time with COVID 19. Multiple immersive games that require you to use your body and move as the controller. The graphics are amazing, you can do it anywhere, no cords or computer needed! BOX VR is our favorite program - you have to punch orbs that fly at you in a specific way at a specific time in perfect beat with the music. You are so immersed in playing this amazing game that you do not even notice the calories flying off your body until you look at your final score and calorie tally. Its kind of like doing a killer Tae Bo workout, but you have no idea that you are working out. You are playing and having fun. Lots of other cool games like this. Beat Saber is also great for moving to music - you wiled light sabers and chop stuff in time with the music. Honestly, you have to play this - words cannot do it justice. There are many other great programs including Wander which lets you go anywhere in the world and look around 360 degrees as if you were standing there - brilliant!!! There are games you can play with others as well - I like Elven Assasin where you are one of a team of archers defending the town from attacking hordes. We started with one headset and everyone liked it so much that we now have one for each member of our family. The non-gamers love it as much as the gamers. 500 is cheap for this device since you can cancel your gym membership and use the available apps to get in better shape than ever.

I am an early adopter. I have an Oculus Rift and an HTC Vive with Wireless adapter for the Vive. The Oculus Quest is so much easier to setup. One of the best features is the ability to recognize 5 different spaces without having to reset your boundary. Not all games work with Oculus Quest, but they seem to be catching up quickly. I have not tried it with Steam yet. The resolution is lower than my wired VR options but not terribly so.

If you haven’t played in virtual reality , this headset is a mind blower! You feel like you’re in new worlds while staying in one room. I do have a few draw backs, it’s easy to get motion sick, I’ve only felt it twice the past month, My parents feel it more than I do. My second main concern is the lack of games on this device there are about 5 games that you can play repeatedly and have fun. But most games are a 1 hour experience that cost $20. Great virtual reality headset I just wish more game companies were looking towards oculus instead of Xbox and ps

I was playing a climbing game and I felt like I was going to fall. It's not like anything else I have ever tried. It's nice not to have to attach wires to a game like xbox. You put on the glasses and hold 2 hand controllers that also don't have wires. There is also a relaxing software that is like watching the stars and colors dancing in the sky. My son and his wife and there 5 year old can't put it dow,

I had a Gear VR and thought I would just get a bit of an increase in visual quality and since it does have built in 3D sound (though you can plug your own headphones into it) the Quest would be a bit more convenient. Also since it is all self contained , there would be no more connecting and disconnecting the phone into it everytime I wanted to do VR. The Quest surpassed my expectations! Visual quality is clear, much sharper than my Gear VR. It is as comfortable as the Gear VR and so convenient. Just pick it up, put it on, it automatically comes on and you are in VR! It's great to be able to walk up to things in VR and look around, and under them. I've used it to go places like Paris, Shanghai, Mars, lol. There is an app like Google Street View that is really fun to use. You can travel any where in the world. Many of the games and apps are fun, and engaging. Some are very educational and great exercise too. There is something for everyone. I have found battery life to be between 1.5 to 3 hours depending on what I was doing. It comes with two controllers, a charger and very very long charging cord. Batteries for the controllers are included.

This is a great VR headset that will be perfect for those who want to get in the VR experience. Please note that this is in no way a replacement for any game console. The issue with VR is that it isn’t really popular right now. Not only that but, for me, it does take time to get the VR in use before playing. You have put it on, get comfortable, and make sure that you have enough battery life (tops 2 hours when in play).

It’s by far the best be experience I’ve had and i own the rift and vive. The face that your able to play it anywhere and no cords is just crazy to me. I almost felt no difference in gameplay from the quest to the rift. If you are iffy about it don’t be. It will be the best thing you buy. I did return it but that’s because After I bought it I didn’t see why I needed another vr headset. Would recommend to anyone

I purchased this because I was looking for a wireless VR experience. I also own a PSVR and was tired of the wire being an issue. This headset is wonderful. Easy to set up use and has plenty of good games that are not as good as a PC but a bit better than the PSVR. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into VR and not have a lot of money that you need for a PC headset.

The oculus quest is amazing for multiple reasons, the oculus quest is the cheapest VR hardest by far but still having amazing quality and not needing any high end computers is really nice. Also it being completely wireless gives a lot more embrasive experience So if you are on the fence about getting one I would highly recommend it one of the best purchases i have ever made
