We absolutely love the Oculus Quest. However, after two weeks the left and right triggers on the controllers are squeaking. I researched online and found this is a common issue. I am working with tech support to resolve this now. So far they have been responsive but I have to send in the controllers to be looked at. I'll be out of play for two weeks which I think is ridiculous as I just got this thing. While I'm happy with the device, I'm pretty frustrated with the controller issue. To be fair I'm giving it four stars in hopes they take care of this!

The vr was easy to set up on my phone. You can pick the games you want either on the app or on the vr and they download quite quickly. The picture quality is great, the volume and head and eye adjustments are easy to use. You can play the system for almost 2 hours straight before having to recharge. Very fun unit!

You will be blown away. Being inside a game is next level fun.

Will be the thing that convinces you VR is more than a gimmick.

Let me start by saying, I own 4 different VR headsets. I have the Sony PSVR, The HTC Vive, The Oculus Go, and now the Quest. They all have their strengths. For the Quest, the strength is simplicity. Its the best VR experience with minimal equipment. Now that shows when looking at game graphics. but it makes sense, because you dont have all the processing power of the PC. However, with the right cable you can hook the quest to a PC and do all that a Rift can. Now my biggest gripe (and its important) is this: Although this CAN do everything the Oculus GO can do, They do not let it. There are simple apps that I have on my GO that were not in the Quest store. Oculus defends this by saying the Go is more for media viewing and the Quest is more for gaming. This is stupid, Its exactly like saying "you cant use your high end gaming PC to simply browse the web, that's what a tablet is for." If you want to use Quest for many simple viewing apps, you have to "side load" the apps. Its not ideal. So just know, what you want to easily do in VR, before you decide on this or a GO. If your goal is to enjoy the pics from your 360 camera or simple multimedia tasks, Oculus does their best to steer you to the GO.

We purchased the Quest this summer looking to try something new given how much we’re stuck at home with COVID-19 restrictions. This gaming system has been a lot of fun for the whole family. The controls are very intuitive and it provides a very immersive experience that you have to try for yourself to understand.

I have only one complaint, I loose myself for 2 hours a day!!

I cringed a little at the price tag but I would spend double or triple the amount after playing. Definitely worth every penny. It is an unreal piece of equipment. You will have to make some adjustments if you wear glasses or want to play along with family members but for the extra $50 of accessories, its well worth it.

Just like being there in person. Easy to use and fun!!
