Wow. This is so much fun. My wife who hates video games loves the Oculus. It drops you right into everything. You are a part of the action. You are the game. Zero issues in set up. Everything paired right up and the phone app was super easy to create my account. Only bad pet is now I’m gonna have to buy another one so I get VR time.

Wow! just to start it off, wow. This Headset is innovative. i love that it requires no wires to play and how you dont even need a computer to set it up or add any games or apps. it has its very own menu for all your browsing needs! games, social apps, internet browser, movies, and more! this is definitely a purchase i consider a investment because this is The Future of Entertainment! plus its standalone again! you can take it to your friends house, your parents house, or even to the park. i mean you can take it anywhwere. Ive shown this to many of mu friends, and even my parents, let me tell you. It was a hit. they all loved it! Even my little neice quickly understood its controls. If you are interested even in the slightest, these headsets are so worth it. I recommend you to get the Oculus Rift without a doubt as its been one of my all time best entertainment purchases and i hope it’ll be yours as well!

I have the PS VR. I like it a lot. This thing is way beyond. Here are a few key areas where it shines: 1 - no cords - this is a huge difference. Now I can turn and face any direction. 2 - cameras on the headset - this means it can track your hands a million times better. You can now reach anywhere. It's soooo much better. 3 - fantastic image 4 - better controls with great hand representation 5 - completely portable - easy to bring anywhere. no hassle 6 - ability to see the real world when not in the game In my opinion, there are 2 problems: 1 - There's only one account - this means if you're halfway through a game, someone else can't start the same game. This is a pretty big issue if you've got multiple people in a house. 2 - It doesn't have a ton of games yet.

I can’t recommend this enough. It takes you to another world in incredible immersion, wirelessly. More titles are coming through especially that hand tracking and oculus link (to connect to pc) are coming. There will be more applications and development for this platform for sure. The future is here so grab one now if you haven’t.

VR is an awesome experience. This is very easy to set up. It is nice to have 6 DOF (degrees of freedom) and be able to move around the room I hampered by cords. Turning in circles does not tangle you with the cord. The actual graphics are not as good as a computer based VR unit but they are good enough for me.

I own an Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and now the Oculus Quest and the Quest has quickly become my favorite. The graphical quality may be a bit lower, but there is really something magical about being able to experience VR without being tethered by cables. I'd recommend just getting the 64GB model if you are interested in the Quest.

    Standalone VR for the masses

Virtual reality has finally hit an inflection point with the Oculus Quest, where you are free to step into new worlds without stepping around cables or cords, where the once impossible now not only seems possible but IS possible. No fancy PC rigs are required for the Quest — it never needs to be tethered (*minor note: except to charge the battery!) and is such a masterful bit of technology that once you strap in and turn on you’ll be absolutely gobsmacked and sport a grin from ear to ear. While there are occasional hiccups in some of the software and games, for a day one purchase nearly everything works exactly as advertised. I’m incredibly impressed by the Guardian system which allows you to set a physical play boundary to keep you from running into walls and TVs. The controller tracking is nearly flawless, the native sound emanating from the head set (sans headphones) is a great quality, and the display screen is absolutely gorgeous. Once you find the sweet spot on the adjustable head straps and eye lense adjustment, you’ll be gaming and exploring perfectly. If I have one minor gripe, I’d have preferred the ability in the Oculus software to enable multiple user profiles on the device, but I’m sure that could be easily remedied in future firmware updates. All in all, I am THRILLED to be a day one adopter of the Quest. In the great big scheme of things, this is THE system that one day we will look back on and point to as the moment when Virtual Reality truly went mainstream.

You've likely read all the hype regarding the Oculus Quest from its many fans. Well, this time believe the hype. The Quest is a breakthrough product that provides an incredible virtual reality experience. And that's why they're selling these as fast as they can make them. There are already a healthy number of great games and experiences, some free. Smiles, chills, and thrills are guaranteed. Best of all, this is a standalone device. No cables required while using it! You do need to use a charging cable when the internal battery runs low, but the charge lasts over two hours with normal use. And you can hook up a portable battery back (Anker's products are great) to provide even larger playing/viewing time. There are some complaints about comfort while wearing the headset. While I don't personally find it uncomfortable, there are modifications and third-party products to help with this. I can't express the size of the smile on my face when I first used this. And it continues to make me smile widely each and every time I put it on. This is the state of the art in VR. Grab one, and I bet you'll smile too!

I worked for a company that built VR content and also tested VR content. Always had issues with all the wires and allowing people free range of motion. Problem solved. Quest is immersive, wire free, and the best self-contained system yet. The downside is the lack of good content and the price of content. The headset is a little front heavy, but that can be solved with a third party strap that goes across the top of your head.

Got this for Christmas and it's amazing. Easy to setup and has an easy tutorial to learn how to use. Unit is wireless which means you dont have to connect to a computer. Already did some light saber training in the VR star wars game. Looks goofy to people watching, but who cares! Looking forward to more games!

Wow, just Wow! This is by far the best VR experience I have ever had. Crispy images, accurate motion tracking controllers. Oculus really did excel on this one. The only thing that bothers me is the comfort level. It is a bit heavy, so you might need to buy third-party straps. Otherwise. Regardless of that, I give it 5 starts!

Just an awesome device. Easy to setup, easy to work with and play on, easy to download new software and games, and the graphics and audio are great. They have a special setup that allows for people who wear glasses. Once setup it can pass seamlessly between people who do, and don't, wear glasses

It's a great balance of VR experience and being able to take it on the go. Definitely better now that it has the Oculus Link to connect to a PC for more demanding VR games. I feel like it's a bit over priced for what it does and the Oculus Quest library. Good for casual games but you will need a gaming PC to get the more intense games. Number 1 gripe I have about it is that it doesn't allow multiple accounts. So when my 2 kids and I play we are all sharing the same saved game files. Over all very fun though.

I’ve gotten older and can’t have long attention spans on Xbox or PS4 anymore. With the Quest, this has renewed my love for gaming and tech. Love using it even for 30 min, or 2 hrs. Great selection of games and can’t believe VR is now completely mobile. This is what VR is supposed to be. No wires. No PC needed.

I sold 1000 dollars of high tech VR equipment because these headset is just the ultimate VR solution. Go anywhere VR with enough graphical power to keep you immersed in some fantastic titles. For PCVR players you can still play your PCVR games streamed to the headset through 3rd party sideloading. Game changer.

This device is wonderful! I had played a friend’s Oculus Rift, and was looking forward to an untethered experience. It met my expectations. Pro: - portable - easy to start, easy to use Con: - battery life is short, and doesn’t hold a charge for long, even when shut off - movie/video quality could be a little better

Easy setup. Super clear video. Lots of room for storing videos on the headset. Headset connects easily to the PC for file transfers from the PC to the Quest. Headset straps could be a bit more comfortable. Using controllers is intuitive and controller movement is fluid. Most games from the Oculus Go cannot be ported over to the Quest. They have to be rebought for the Quest. The availability of games is limited but new games are being added on a regular basis. Did I mention that the screen video is bright, colorful, and clear!

I love my Oculus Quest, this is the best VR game ever. You are literally transported into the game and its all so real. I have Playstation VR as well but it does not compare to my Oculus. This the must have VR system and the fact that is easy to transport anywhere is beyond awesome.

I have had the Oculus Quest now for over a month and I could not be more happy about my purchase. The ability to play without being tethered to a computer is great. Yes graphic quality may be less than say the Vive, but it is not a distraction at all and in fact I think the graphics are great. Browser capabilities, watch youtube, Netflix, you name it. Also the games are awesome and simple to download and not very pricey. Games range from free to 29.99 (usd). Beat Saber, Space Pirate Trainer, Box VR (fitness game), Racket NX, Super Hot Vr and Poker Stars Vr are the games I have now and the replayability on all is great. So many titles are still coming out. I would recommend buying the 128 gig version simply because $100 more, you get DOUBLE the hard drive space. Worth the upfront cost. Only negative I can think of, and it is not a huge deal, is there is not blue tooth capability for headphones. The system itself has built in speakers and mic. However I like using over ear can-type headphones to get the full immersive experience.
