It's worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Parents, we bought this for our 13 year old. I wasn't sure what the hype was all about until he insisted I "check it out". It is unlike anything we grew up with as kids. WOW. Had I known VR was this cool, I would have gotten it for him a long time ago. So, this one is nice because it doesn't need to plug into a computer and is completely portable. It is a big hit with all the kids in the neighborhood too. As long as you have WIFI connection, you can use it anywhere. Also, this is owned or made by Facebook. Yep. and you buy games through your phone. So far, the games have been reasonable in price and way cooler than anything else you have experienced in gaming. No glitches, the speed is good. It's hard for me to believe that they can pack such an awesome device in such a small package. My 8 year old loves it too. Just buy it. You'll be glad you did. Most importantly, make sure your kids let you take a turn.... It will blow your mind.

Best All-In-One VR you can buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for a VR headset that can do everything and do it all well this is the unit for you. With an outstanding ecosystem of software on both the Oculus Quest platform and the ability to utilize Oculus Rift/S platform for PC gaming this little bugger does it all. Is it the best, nope, but man can it make you happy with all it has to offer. On the comfort front it falls short. For starters it is just too front heavy to be comfortable for long periods of time. Investing in several aftermarket mods can vastly improve this but out of the box you are likely to be a red faced neck hanging sore monster after your first couple of extended sessions. Your millage may vary but... I doubt it. I could complain about the battery and odds and ends not working on occasion but the good far out weights the bad. It is an excellent VR headset for this price point. If you want to get into VR this is the set to get, if you can actually find one to get. Enjoy!!

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down this is the best implementation of standalone VR I've seen. Better yet it's basically a fully featured tethered VR headset as well, so you're not missing out on that aspect if you have a VR capable PC. The software library is excellent and growing and there are so many cool experiences to be had. If you've been disappointed with previous VR implementations, or if you're skeptical, I suggest you check this headset out before you pass judgement on VR. It's safe to say that things are looking up! The ONLY downside to me is the price. It's on the high side, and you're going to be shelling out $10-$30.00 for games, and many video experiences such as movies and such are also fee based. We've already spent over $100.00 on games alone!

Great wire free intro to VR!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t played video games much for years but decided to try the Oculus Quest. It’s a great escape from reality and the games are immersive and a lot of fun. If you want cutting-edge/next-generation gaming, VR is it. The quest makes it more affordable and portable than other VR headsets.

||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Third VR gaming headset. Had been anticipating this VR headset for nearly a year. Love VR. Hate wires. While it is an all in one device, it is still awkward and heavy no matter how I try to adjust it on my head. I just don't use it as much as I would otherwise. Have used it for several types of games like Moss, Beat Saber, Arizona Sunshine, VR Gun Club and a couple of fishing games. Takes a while to load the games. Sometimes there are glitches and I have to restart the device. It happens more frequently than any other computer device I have that runs apps, and I have quite a few. That is a minor inconvenience. Most games run fine once it is up and running. Often hard to find a quit button for the apps though. Not having wires is great. The controllers feel very nice and are easy to use. Have not tried hand tracking. I have the PS VR as well. the little ball tipped controllers lag far behind the Oculus Quest controllers. The PS VR headset is far more comfortable. I think the Quest would be better having a separate unit that you wear on your belt that attached to the headset on the back, so the device would not be so heavy. It does ruin the experience because you are always aware of the headset as it is heavy and uncomfortable. Still, I am giving it four stars because it works as described, the materials are quality and the glitches are minor overall. As I played pong when it originally came out, where we have come with video games and the devices is pretty awesome. I would tell my friends to wait until the next gen device though, bordering on a buy recommendation.

Longtime vr guy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So here it is... I have owned the Gear VR, Daydream, VrOne and the original Rift (PC). First off the graphics are not as good as the Rift (PC) but, as good as or better than Gear and Daydream. The game play is identical to the Rift (PC) needless to say far superior than any other mobile vr device I've owned or tried. A battery life 2.5 hrs is good since most of my sessions last no more than 1 hr and there is no fast charging so the wait time is about 2hrs and longer. This can be mitigated by using a power bank connected while playing or connect to the wall outlet which most people do. It is heavier than the rift so getting it to sit just right on my small head is a challange. Do your research as always. This VR headset rocks bottom line.

Incredible. Even better then we expected.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly an amazing system. The graphics and immersion into the game is awesome. My son loves it, as do his brothers and sister. Even us parents have fun with it. And with it being wireless but yet still able to set up boundaries, really cool feature.

Makes VR accessible for everyone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality VR experience, without the difficult setup, high price, and wires to get tangled up with. Easy to take to a friends house. The is the most exciting gadget to come along in years. 64GB version is large enough though, 128GB might not be worth the extra cost.

||Posted . The build quality is wonderful, and I haven't had any issues with it in the 6 months I've owned it. Lots of games available! Would highly recommend this.

Awesome graphics self contained unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box it is ready to go and loads programs that are purchased seamlessly. The Graphics and realism for some of the games is very lifelike .. worth every penny. I thoroughly enjoy it and am getting quite a work out with several of the games.

BEST VR experience EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 3rd 128gb headset purchased for co-workers and friends! With the Oculus link software and all the updates to the experience, this is by far the BEST headset on the market! Use VR your way, with wires or without. The choice is yours!

This really is the future of VR
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We already have an HTC Vive Pro. We have a room, with wire routing equipment and room sensors. I thought that this would be a nice set to have in order for people who came over to perhaps play multiplayer VR games. While that is indeed a possibility, there aren't a lot of those kind of games. What this shows me, however, is that the BEST VR will be all-in-one like this one. This has tremendous resolution, great realism, and the freedom of not having to play in a designated room. Yes, there may be a few super high-power games that will test the processor, but the amazing experience of the games that work just reinforced my view that this is the future.

In love with this thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless VR. Set up is super easy, and within minutes I was playing Beat Saber. With some sideloading, you could even get it to run Steam VR games which opens up a whole new way to enjoy content. Honestly one of my best purchases to this date.

First time VR
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never having experienced VR before I am glad I waited for Quest. Primarily because there are no cords. (I was looking at the Go, no cords but apparently not as interactive.) Space Pirates Trainer is a shooting game. Moving targets that shoot AT you and multiple weapons to choose from on the fly. Angry Birds was addictive in the 2 dimensional game but so much more in 3D. Nature Trek gives you a chance to slow down and enjoy 3D totally relaxed. Just got Ultrawings, having minor trouble holding onto the virtual joystick, but moving through the licensing levels quickly. Seems like new adventures coming out every week. I picked it up the day it came out. No regrets.

Love the all in one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some games do cause slight motion sickness, but I am pretty sensitive. I ever noticed the rift causing motion sickness. The ability to take it anywhere is nice, and you can cast to your phone or tv (google chromecast) with Bluetooth.

Best VR experience for a reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quest has the best VR experience for the price. A great display, twin controllers, and very good performance. And it’s all wireless. The headset is front heavy and slightly uncomfortable but there are homemade ways to improve the fit.

Amazing experience
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already have the Oculus Rift S but it feels really great not having to set up my PC every time I wanna play a game. The graphics aren’t amazing compared to the Rift S but obviously because it is a standalone product. But graphics are still good, and games run great for me. Even better, I got this because of the Side Quest capabilities to add some great custom games or games that just aren’t available in the Oculus store. I also love the fact that I can switch to PC gaming if I need to with an oculus link cable. Only problem is that not everyone has a computer or PC to connect to so they don’t have that same option to increase graphics or game selection. Like my friend has a Mac and it won’t work for him unless he gets a windows OS to add to his Mac.
