Strange movie - you can tell it was produced in another country. I did not like it.

When thinking about spaghetti westerns, of course the Clint Eastwood series comes to mind. But this one followed and that was unfortunate, because the man with no name cult got all the attention, fame and publicity. With its allstar cast, Fonda, Bronson, Robards, Cardinale, Elam and Keenan Wynn this western has it all,from the awesome music to the fantastic scenery. When was the last time you can remember Henry Fonda as the bad guy? Sergio Leone's best movie I think - and what is funny about this, is that this movie is not that well known or famous, it just doesn't come to mind when thinking about the great old westerns, and that is a shame, until you see it. I promise, you will remember it then and put it up there with the great ones.....

This is quite possibly my favorite western of all time. Henry Fonda is as close to perfect as you could find a vilian along with one of my favorite actors, Charles Bronson as Harmonica. The music is legandary, especially in the standoff at the end. Sergio Leone is brilliant and fotunate for casting Bronson after Eastwood turned it down.

The first of the three movie's in Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In...This movie is one of the best, if not THE, greatest movie ever.The acting from Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale, and the late great Charles Bronson are some of the best you will ever see.The way it was shot is amazing taking in the beatiful Monument Valley to the Grey Hills of Spain. If you can handle the long runtime it has then you will be rewarded with one of the greatest endings ever caputered on film. In short Buy it because its cheap and its worth every penny.

I read the review on IMDB.com and gave it a try since the price was dirt cheap. In three words: Great, Entertaining, Memorable. The story has a very great pace and style from the get go. Even though it was filmed in 1969, the director was ahead of his time. Great Action, cinematography, charm and humor. Forget Clint Eastwood earlier material, this movie has it all. PICK IT UP, even if youre not a western fan.

One flashy western, Sergio Leone really knew how to make a classy western. If there is one western that everyone has seen it's The Good, The Bad, The Ugly and we have Leone to thank for that, even if he can't speak a word of English. Talk about a good cast. Fantastic.

This movie features Henry Fonda in one of his bad guy roles. Along with Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and Claudia Cardinale to round out a solid cast. If you like the spaghetti westerns, you will love this one. Plenty of action and plot twists.
