Easy to fill and not too difficult to clean up. Although the company does not claim it is necessary to use distilled water, that is probably a good idea. It will be easier to keep free of calcium buildup. I chose the side and because the description stated it was adequate for a 500 square-foot room. So far it has worked very well. I empty and wash it out once a day

I wish I could give this more, but there are a few things that both my wife and myself do not like. We may be trivial, but a review is supposed to be an honest assessment of a product purchased. Good things first. It does not take up to much space. The cool-mist is cool, and the amount of mist can be increased or reduced. A fill up lasts up to three days if used over night like we do. Has a 2/8/12 hour timer that seems to work, but I usually set the thing at 12 hours when I start it and manually shut it off in the morning. Has a cylindrical movable directional diffuser that moves the mist any way you want it to go in 360 degrees. Things we do not like. Not the easiest to fill and the handle on the bottom to hold the 1.5 gallon container while works, just seems like it will not one day. Internally has a bright bluish LED light that seems overtly too bright. I use a very dark shirt to wrap around the unit to "calm" the light down. Seems to have a unique yet somewhat offensive odor (bothers my wife more than me) via the cool mist. The diffuser mentioned earlier comes off extremely easy and the cat has found it and knocks it off the unit to play on the floor with it. Thinking of taping it down. If you want a "night lite" in a cool mist unit, and/or not concerned with a few of the items mentioned above, most of the previous reviews were quite positive. I'm just trying to give it an honest, but maybe trivial assessment to help you make an informed decision about this unit that maybe other folks either did not care about or just ignored the things that bothers us. I hope after a while the odor goes away (I think it will). I would recommend this unit as good working humidifier.

I wanted an ultrasonic humidifier to eliminate the heating element, which usually makes a humidifier difficult to keep clean. This has stayed much cleaner. On one of the lower settings, it does last all day (or overnight). There are two things I am not thrilled about. 1) There is a light in the tank (I understand why it is there- it makes it easier to see the water level) that you cannot shut off. This makes it annoying to have in the bedroom while you are trying to sleep. 2) I did not pay the extra money for a warm mist humidifier. Next time I will. This has made the house noticeably cooler. Living through a Winter in the Northeast, this is not the best feature. It will be pleasant in the Summer, but humidifying is usually not as necessary in the warmer seasons.

I have used this humidifier for about a month. It's very quiet and easy to use. Some people had commented on the blue light being a little too bright, but I don't have any problem with it. Overall I am very satisfied with purchase, will buy another one soon.

I'm very pleased with this product. I've had a number of humidifiers over the years and with our heavy mineral water they're tough to keep clean. This is the easiest to clean, love the adjustments for high-low flow, the timer sets and auto shut off. It's small and light weight but holds a good deal of water, lasts several days!

We have a pellet stove and it gets very dry in the house. This humidifier is very quiet, can put out the mist due to its various settings and the timer is wonderful. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to everyone.

The humidifier has a number of options which are nice (multiple mist levels, 4 settings for on -- continuous, 2 hr, 8 hr, 12 hr) and seems to use water efficiently, we typically get 2-3 nights of use before needing to refill. It also has very minimal sounds from operation, the loudest thing is the occasional gurgle from water. There is also an indicator light that shows when the tank is not sitting right/won't function which is nice. The only downsides for us: as others have mentioned there is a blue light that shines continuously through the tank to help you see water level, but that can be distracting for light sleepers. There are also function lights on the front (green on, amber for time setting). These aren't major issues for us and we would definitely purchase this product again.

No noise nice and clean humidifier.. Lasts long as well..

Nice looking and very good price, has adjustable mist output and 3 different timers which is great too. Uses a lot of bottled water, wish I knew ahead of time that it required (recommended) purified/distilled water, that gets expensive since it takes a gallon every other night. It is extremely quiet except every time it takes water from tank to bottom, which is often, and makes a gurgling noise that is very distinct. But again for price, nice product.

This is the quietest ultra-sonic humidifier I have ever owned. Past humidifiers had an annoying drone. This one is truly whisper quiet. It throws slightly less moisture than others I have owned. I would never buy a different model again. It has a soft blue light which is a nice night light in a bedroom. It might disturb some,but not me.

Works quietly, water capacity is sufficient for the long time, ergonomic and convenient to re-fill. Looks nice. If could buy for the second time, would buy the same.

I bought this to replace another humidifier that was getting dirty inside based on reviews that this was easy to clean. Haven't had to clean it yet, but does seem to be easier to access to clean out to prevent dirt and mold build up. Very quiet operation and doesn't seem to leave water vapor on the table it's on.

Works great, love the settings. Tank of water last three nights.

Reduced the static problem in my lounge down to nothing. It also feels warmer now the air isn't so dry. Our cat also is shedding less and has less problems with static fur. It does use a lot of water but we have it on full. Our lounge is about 19' by 13' with half of it double height and it has worked on that whole area when on full.

Since using this is I am sleeping better, not waking up like I am in the Sahara desert because it is so dry. I like the timer feature and volume of mist features. It is easy to refill. There is a blue glowing light from the machine and a slight hum, but not too bright or loud.

Best humidifier I’ve had so far! It actually holds 2 gallons contrary to the description. Lasts for about 3 days on low and it’s easy to clean. Great quality for the price!

I used other products they were noisy and water capacity was not sufficient for me, this is quiet and water capacity is sufficient for the long time. Looks nice. I would definitely recommend this product
