The blade and motor have a terrific warranty. built to last really.my teenager asks for milkshakes every weekend. Easy to take apart to clean. Blades are razor sharp and can chip ice for margaritas, blend and pulse and purée anything. Also an attractive appliance w/ chrome finish (in plastic) but fits and looks nice on any counter

I recently bought this blender and i am very satisfied with this purchase i saw the same one at macys and it cost more than what i pay at bestbuy the main reason why i bought was because it crushes ice and also because i love oster electronics

Purchased this to replace my 44 year old Oster blender which still runs but I needed a little more power. This blender fits my needs perfectly as I use it mostly to blend soups etc. It takes up less room on the counter than most blenders, looks great and is easy to clean. The glass jar was a must for me.

I had hesitations about purchasing this blender because it didn't seem to appear to be as large as my previous blender, was a different brand, and didn't have a pour spout. I am so glad I decided to give it a try. I found it very easy to put together/set up. I use the blender every day, it has more speeds than I expected and does an amazing job, even better than my previous blender which cost more money than this one. Being glass and dishwasher safe (I don't put the blade in the dishwasher), is a great benefit. I broke my previous blender because it being plastic and in the dishwasher, and I found I don't miss not having the side pour spout, with the shape and the way this blender works, pouring is clean and easy, no mess. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this blender more like it matched with the other appliances in my kitchen, but so far I am very happy with the performance too, It is strong, and the variable speeds allows me to blend different food.

We have had our blender since 2010 and still works fine. It's easy to use and wash, plus it doesn't use much space. Just bought one for my Dad!!

I found the product very useful and easy to clean, though it makes some noise when it is operating, the speed and power are amazing.

I have an Oster from my mom, at 50 years old. I knew it would die some day and that I would want an Oster again. Partly because I wanted to be able to use my old blade, washer and carafe-and guess what I can. So my new Oster is fast, easy to use and I can blend up double or triple batches easily because I have two sets of carafes. The price at best buy was the best.

From delicate greens when I make my Pesto, to hard ice for the fruit shakes, this blender let's me be more innovative and makes my work a lot faster. It's also easy to clean - I put soapy water into it and blend it. Or if yiu used really sticky material, you can disassemble blade and case and wash in the dishwasher

I wanted a blender that could crush ice and blend fresh fruit in one step. This blender makes my morning smoothie quick and easy. Various settings do give you different results in how fine or coarse the ingredients are chopped.

I make alot of smoothies with this. I like all the different levels of speed. It helps when i want to make a thick smoothie like a milkshake or a more liquid one like a green smoothie. Ice and frozen fruits blend very well.

Good overall blender for the price. Very powerful and has lots of speed options. Only complaint is the lid does not fit as tight as it could and will sometime leak when blending liquids.

The Blender is excellent for crushing ice for my shake in the morning. It is very easy to clean, and use the next time. I would recommend this blender to anyone who would want to buy one.

My wife instructed me to go get another blender, since she loaned out old one to her sister. I knew what I was going to get -- but then she caught me as I was about to bolt out the door and told me not to get what I was thinking about getting. So, with that in mind, I ended up getting this one after researching product reviews while standing in the blender section for about 30 minutes. This one ranked as a great blender at a great price. Unfortunately, we never got a chance to use it because my wife didn't like its looks when I placed it on the counter. Needless to say, we ended up going back to the store, and she picked the blender I was going to purchase in the first place!

This blender gets the job done well in practical tasks such as making smoothies etc. Sometimes it takes a little while to get going with food not reaching the blades but with some mixing this isn't a problem. It isn't the quietest blender I've had but it's also a fraction of a the cost of a quieter one!

I’ve used it already quite a few times for many different things it blends ice very well. It’s very easy to clean because of the glass cup. I love it.

this is an old school powerful blender with a glass container. if you want a blender that just works, day in - day out, this is it. my last Oster lasted nearly 20 years...just needed to replace the rubber gaskets. This is very similar...easy to operate, easy to clean (just stick it in the dishwasher).

This blender is powerful and easy to use. Excellent for making creamed soups super smooth. Also the perfect tool for the best smoothies.
