Bought this case for my wife. This case is very well built and offers great protection to the phone. The exterior rubber seems a bit firm to me to offer optimum cushioning, but I'm sure the engineers at Otterbox have done their homework and know what they're doing. The case makes the phone feel really solid. Overall I'm a big fan of this case and it makes the $600 phone feel much more durable. While I like the benefits the built-in screen protector offers, I want to note that it does create some minor "artifacts" on the screen that look like swirly rainbows. These are pretty subtle, but if you're an image purist, it may bother you. My only other complaint about this case is the cover for the micro-USB port. Because the rubber is relatively stiff, when you bend the cover out of the way to access the microUSB, the cover tends to push back onto the microUSB cable. Over time, I worry this will break the solder joints inside the microUSB connector. (I work in the computer connector industry, so I speak from experience.) I would recommend taking an Xacto knife and simply cutting off the cover for the microUSB port at the hinge point. Other than leaving the port permanently exposed, it will not detract from the overall protection the case affords.

I chose it because of the camoflage design. It also protects my work phone really well.

I bought this case primarily due to a vacation I was taking and I knew I would be in some outdoor terrains and wanted solid protection for my phone. Installation is quick and easy. It adds a bit of bulk to the phone but it's not overbearing and it still fits easily in pant or shirt pockets. I also like the non-slip grip it provides. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and so far it has lived up to its billing. The only thingt I would lodge a minor complaint about is the screen cover easily smudges but that is normal for plastic covers. There is also quite a bit of glare in bright sunlight. Overall it has been what I expected and performed as I expected it to. I got the black case and I probably will in the near future add some color from their collection.

This case it great. It protects the phone well with a nice rubber outer shell and comes with a screen protector. It also has a belt clip that can cover the screen side of the phone or be clipped onto the back of the phone. You can also buy additional outer shells to change it up.

Case is very durable. Has protected my phone from several drops. My case did start falling apart after about a year of use, but Otterbox has a great manufacturers warranty and Best Buy was able to exchange it out in store under their warranty for no charge!

I have owned several of Otterbox cases and have been happy with each one. The clips on the holders tend to break a lot(would have given it 4 stars), but if you go through Otterbox's warranty process they often just send you a whole new case, not just the clip. It's quick and easy. The color is right on.

I bought this case for my wife after i dropped her phone and cracked the screen. This case seems much more sturdy and protective than the last Otterbox Commuter case she had. That was a good case as well, but this one seems to have an extra layer of protection and you dont have to mess with those pesky screen protectors because this one is built into the frame of the case.

I bought this Otterbox case to replace one that I had been using for nearly two years. The reason for replacing my Otterbox case was that I wanted a different color cover. After two years my old case showed minimal signs of wear. It did a great job protecting my phone from damage due to dropping my phone and a few occasional spills.

I was hesitating buying, as it seemed so bulky. But once I got it on my phone, I am not as worried about dropping or breaking my phone. It felt so fragile out of the case, but this one is sturdy/solid. It hasn't pulled away at the sides like some phone cases do. I was limited on the colors I had to choose from but that was still OK.

This case fits perfectly with my phone. There are no gaps or opens spaces to expose the phone to the elements. It resists scratches and feels good in my hand. It is not bulky and it feels comfortable in my pocket.

OTTER BOX DEFENDER - is great if you want a HULK to protect your phone. I have to admit I went a bit overboard after I sat on and killed a phone. I went for the largest and best case I could find short of a box. The DEFENDER is very good and I kept it for several months and then down graded a bot to the COMMUTER - less bulk and that is the only thing it gets the 4 stars for - it is a bit BULKY and does not fit in pockets easy. but drop it and you are totally protected.

Otter is always good ... Always protects.. It's a little on the fat side ... Otter box top of the line product
