The adjustable light settings and the moveable light arm are great for desk work as is the USB charging port.

The station is wide, with two monitors and a tower with external speakers. This lamp has a long bulb on a configurable arm that provides excellent lighting of my wide space. The white color of the emitted light allows accurate viewing of color on the desk - which is useful when comparing photos to what I see on my monitor screens. Also the light is not harsh, even on the highest setting. I recommend this lamp highly.
