Due to relocating the modem, a hardwired phone system didn't work anymore, so I needed to expand the number of cordless phones. This system was inexpensive but provides a clear signal.

The DECT tech works everywhere on my half acre property. In addition to announcing calls from your contact list, these can optionally notify of text messages, email, social media updates. Great if you don't carry your cell phone around the house. I would and have recommended to a friend.

People calling in complain that the clarity does not sound very good. I do have to say that the charge on the portable phones last a long time.

The last phone I bought maybe two years ago and it did not last beyond maybe 18 months. This phone is used as a home phone whereas most calls come or go on the iPhones. Messages on the home phone are the key and that is what failed on the old phone.

They are very clear and never lose any signal strength, but the one thing that I love more than anything is having the ability to set it up, so that it will stop spam calls immediately if it recognizes it as such.

Easy to program

It was easy to eliminate the talking call screener, the handset lights up when off the cradle and the time on the handset screen is nice and big. I don't do anything fancy with it - no bluetooth and I don't use the message machine on the phone itself. Very happy with it so far.

Other than that no problem. I will say this is my third set of Panasonic phones & this is the first time I’ve had a problem. The other sets I had were used until they were worn out.
