My wife and I both don't like holding a phone for an extended period, so we always want a phone with a headset jack. Jacks seem to be not offered anymore, but Best Buy claims that the TGD564 has Bluetooth capability. What they don't say is that there is a very short list of Bluetooth devices that will work on this phone, and none of the ones on the list are sold by Best Buy. When I bought the Panasonic phones the salesman recommended the BlueParrott headset, but it definitely did not work. The Panasonic packaging also implied that these phones could work with a headset. It is also very difficult to contact anyone at Panasonic for help. There hours are only 8-5 EST and M-F. By the time I got help the 30-day return limit for Best Buy had passed for the Panasonic and a rather pricey headset.

It lack's a light at the tip to inform you that you had an incoming call. The Positioning of the answering buttons to get a call that has come in seem backwards.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.disappointed. our home line is actually a verizon cell line plus we have 2 cell (smart) phones. we like the incoming phone call and text message announcements and will keep the system for that feature alone. the quality of cell phone calls through the panasonic phone system is sub par. the voice sound crackles and breaks up . People on the other end comment that our voice is not clear. so for phone calls we always use our smart phones, but like the announce feature
