I love watching Blu-ray movies or streaming shows from my PS4 but I dislike using the controller. When you're watching a movie, it is super easy to accidentally bump one of triggers which will fast forward and rewind it. This remote takes away that hassle and gives you a lot more features. You are able to program your TV and a receiver to it so you only use one remote to watch Netflix versus three. My roommate liked it so much, he bought his own remote.

The remote controlled all my electronics but will not work for VUDU on the PS4.

I purchased this remote for use with PlayStation Vue tv service. The PS4 controller just did not have what I needed and constantly needed to be recharged when watching the tv service. The remote was easy to setup and controls all of my devices now.

I didn't want to use my PS4 controller + TV remote while streaming shows, so I decided to purchase this universal remote. It has most of the buttons/functionality found on the PS4 controller. Pairing it took some time, but it controls my TV's functions as expected. One annoying thing is that I have to press the 'TV' input button to changing the volume. I've used universal remotes in the past where I can change channels and volume without having to select the input on the remote. Also, the remote seems to have some sort of sleep functionality. After being idle, the remote input needs to be selected before using again.

Great to have a remote that is easy to use and can replace several remotes.

It took a few times to get it to connect. Once connected worked as needed.

Paired easily with my Samsung TV. Works well with all PS4 apps and can be used as just a TV remote for typical daily needs. Note: after pushing the blue PS4 button, immediately press the PS button on the remote to turn on the Playstation.

Overall not bad. I'm not as satisfied with the set-up and interaction as I am with the PS3 version. However, it is still easier to use than the PS4 game controller. The menu buttons are different, and interact different. The remote, at this time, does not work with Hulu for some reason, not sure why. Still, it is worth buying just for an easier use and the price is not bad.

The remote works just as advertised. I can now control my ps4, cable, TV, and audio receiver with one remote.

The Ps4 finally has a remote control for use for watching media Either by disk or by streaming. You can program you tv, satellite and even your sound bar into this controller. Great product!

Easy to use. Great for when I only want to watch movies and browse music

I wish that Sony came out with this a long time ago instead of waiting a year after the PlayStation 4 came out but besides that it's easy to handle works great must have for movie fanatics

Well honeslty it isn't the best remote or the most comfortable to hold, but it does what it needs to do. Just be careful and make sure it works. There are a lot of duds.

Anything that makes it easier to be lazy is always worth the purchase
