Overall, the remote is decent. It fits comfortably in your hand, and it has all of the control buttons and device configurations you might need; however, to accommodate that, the buttons are rather small and can be difficult to distinguish in a dimly lit room. The most notable irritant to me though is that the remote goes into a 'sleep mode' at some point, and you have to wake it up by pressing buttons a couple times. I couldn't find where this is an optional on/off setting, but if it is... I'd rather drain the batteries than have to wake it up with multiple button presses.

Was easy to setup. Remote works on my amp and TV as well.

this is an awesome item to have to watch movies on the PS4 you can just use this controller to turn on the PS4 and use it to watch any movie that you put in the system

The Media Remote Works As Intended, I Use It For NetFlix, WWE Network, Crackle, Among Others, Only Thing Missing Is The R3 & L3 Buttons Which Are Not Used That Much.

Universal remote for ps4, works great and easy to use!

This is a great item to have to control all of your systems. I use this to control my TV, PS4, and sound bar and it works great with all of them. It even has a learning feature to learn things that are not in the item code. Ex. I programmed the remote to my TV, but the input button wouldn't work. I was then able to program the input button from my TV remote into the PDP. One problem I did have is that the "volume punch through" didn't work. I had to submit a ticket with PDP.com and they just sent me a new one that was updated with the fix in it at no cost to me. After that, the remote works great.

If you're just using your PS4 for media like Netflix, PS Vue, Hulu, etc. then this remote is the one that you want to get. It is also paired up to my TV and sound bar which makes it so much easier instead of using three different remotes. There's an option that lets you control the volume of a selected device without switching back and forth. Great choice for a universal remote for the PS4.

Bought this remote as a supplement to my ps4 controller. It is easier to use when and set up. So much better when using the ps4 as a media device.

Finally a PS4 sponsored remote and it works great. Sure it doesn't work will all the major apps but they will in the future. It works great with dvds and blu-rays.

This remote is better than the ones before because it can also be used as a Universal remote and eliminates the use for any other remotes, even works with DirecTV.

Purchased this for my husband and he absolutely loves that he can watch movies without having to use a PS4 controller

Love this remote. It was very easy to install and connect to the TV/PlayStation and now even the adults in our home can work a movie! Great price for the product!

It is basically just another remote except you can control the ps4, without draining your controller, great for watching movies, i am glad i made this purchase.

Playstations are not just for games. In fact I use it more for DVD/Blu-Ray movies. Having this remote makes it so much easier to navigate than using a controller.

Works well with all the multi-media this console is able to handle. This is all you need if you don't have cable. Great access to everything all in your hand.

The remote syncs seamlessly with PS4 system. The only feature that I can think of to make it better would be a function to find it from the PS4

I was never a fan of using my PS4 controller to watch movies on my PS4, so when I saw this remote on sale, I jumped on it. This unit makes perfect sense to buy if you use your system to watch movies.
