Bought this universal remote for my PS4. I currently own a Sony 4K TV, Sony Theater system, and a Sony 4K player. This remote easily connected to all of my devices. Instead of using 4 controller, I only now use 1. Very pleased with this product!

This remote is an improvement over having to use the gaming controllers for media consumption. However it isn't always intuitive on which buttons will control your devices. I like it but I would like a simple way to just turn off the PS4.

Although they look very similar, this remote is not as easy to use as the PS3 remote. It turns itself off, so it needs to be turned back on whenever it needs to be used.

Like most people I dislike paying a lot of money for cable. I decided to ditch my cable subscription and sign up for PS Vue. I loved everything about VUE, the price, the dvr and the layout of the menu. The only issue was not everyone else in my household was as comfortable using a PS4 controller to scroll through content. To make things less painful on them I picked up this remote. It pairs fairly easily, and does just what you would expect. Now everyone can search through channels with confidence even when I am not home.

We had the remote for the PS3 that we used all the time, so when we upgraded we bought this one for the PS4. It does what it needs to. I don't like the fact it turns off after a short time of no use... But other than that it is fine.

While not as good as Sony's PS3 remote, this is the best PS4 remote you can get. I was able to program my receiver to control the volume so I only have to use one remote when watching stuff on my PS4. I didn't bother to try to program the TV because I enjoy my Comcast remote for that. One issue is that the pop-up menu button doesn't work. I checked online and it's a problem that has existed for years with this remote. How often do you use the pop-up menu button, though?

The remote works as an 'OK' dvd remote. No smooth transition between multiple devices; when changing inputs between tv and amp. Pairing was not smooth either, but eventually worked.

It works really well to turn the PS4 on and off, and makes it easier to watch a BluRay.

Works as intended, I had one with my PS3 as well, it does what it should and I have no complaints.

It is excellent if you don’t want to use game controller and always have to charge it

I bought this and hoped it would work out. It has definitely worked out. Sometimes the remote does weird stuff but it doesn't get in the way of using it. I'm very happy I got this instead of always draining my ps4 controller lol

So I had a lot of problems with this very unit on my original PS4. For some reason the remote would sync and then just stop working within about a month. I must have swapped out 3 of them in the past and same issue. At the end of 2019 I traded in my PS4 for a PS4 pro. I saw this remote was still available and really like to have a media remote as I do use my consoles to play media and stream. I figured with PS4 going away this remote wouldn't be around long. So I bought another one and so far so good. I liked the official PS3 remote a lot better as this remote has small buttons and odd placement but its been working a few months so I think the issue must have been with the BT on my old PS4.

When I got my Playstaion, I found that I played the games, yet used the console to watch Netflix and HBO GO more. I bought this remote so I didn't have to rely on my Game Controller all the time. I found out that when you binge watch a series,..the controller would need to be charged up more and more. This remote uses AAA Batteries and last much longer. Great add on for those who watch more TV with their consoles than play games!

Got PSVue. Works great with it. Don’t even need to run the battery on my controllers!

It's your basic universal remote with ps4 buttons. The only annoying thing is if you don't use it for a little while (like while watching a movie) you have to keep hitting the ps button so it knows you want to pause or whatever.

Easier to navigate when watching DVDs or Blu Rays, Works just like a bluray remote.

I got tired of using my game controller just to scroll through pictures etc....This really helps!

This little remote is great. After an easy initial setup, you're able to control blu-ray and Netflix playback. My only complaint so far is that Hulu doesn't seem to be supported. Hopefully an update will fix this issue soon.
