This controller works really well. It’s Bluetooth connected and can do all the things that you need without having to turn it off when you don’t use it for a while like a controller.

Awesome for Netflix, Hulu and amazon. Much better than the game pad.

My last PS4 remote just stopped working (not sure why) so I bought another one. I only use the main features on the remote (Play, stop, pause, back) but there are a ton of other things you can do with the remote. I just dont do that. Plus it's way easier to use this remote instead of a PS4 controller. The remote does fall asleep while your watching movies though. But just double tap the PS4 button on the remote and it will walk up.

We have been waiting for a remote control for our ps4 and this is beyond perfect!

If you use your PS4 for any video streaming of anykind, this remote is worth the money. It's easy to use and makes surfing movies or videos a lot simpler than the controller. You can turn the PS4 on and off with it. The only downside is you often have to hit the PS4 button on the remote so the IR works. When watching a BluRay, if I want to pause an hour in I have to make sure the remote is connected with the IR before I can pause. Only reason this isn't 5 Star.

It works fine and is better than using the DS4 for watching movies, but it just isn't as nice as what the PS3 version was. It feels kind of clunky compared to it. Sony really should have just continued to produce that one and offered a software update to allow it's use on the PS4. The controller was worth the $10 that I paid for it. I would have been upset with it had I paid $20 +

So much more convenient than using the game controller for things like Netflix.

This thing is a huge upgrade after using the standard controller for months. So much easier to do basic functions. Only negative is that it goes to sleep relatively quick to save battery, but I suspect that can be adjusted somewhere. I recommend this.

Nice remote if you plan on getting PlayStation Vue service, but it takes two AAA batteries and they do not last very long. Having to switch between PS4 control and TV control is tedious, and leads to pushing the wrong button sometimes. There is no defined way to tell If your tv will be completely compatible with this remote and some tv functions may not be available.

REMOTE IS ALOT EASIER TO USE AND IT HAS MORE OPTIONS TO USE. WORKS REALLY WELL.

Great remote for people who use their console for more than gaming.
