This remote actually works!!! It is user friendly and easy to setup.

This works for the ps4 and the DirecTV and my tv love this control

I was on the fence about this product with it's $30 price tag and the PS4 nearing the end of it's lifecycle. I was also skeptical if it would be able to work with my TV and soundbar. Well, after minimal setup I was able to hook it up to my Samsung Soundbar (HW-J370, from 2015), and my Samsung TV (6 Series from 2017) essentially cutting from three remotes/controllers to just one. I watch a lot of Netflix/Hulu/movies on my PS4 so having a remote is definitely a huge plus. I don't currently have cable so I can't comment on that aspect but I will update my review in the future if that changes. tl;dr: Easy to set up, easy to use, great addition to any binge-watcher's PS4.

Works pretty good. Just don't like how you have to hit the button to get it to work again after not using it a while. It's like the Bluetooth shuts off. Would still recommend though.

Personally, I think this is very pointless to have, and I kept trying to get my bf to not get it, but we ended up getting it for almost free by signing up for the rewards program, so now we have one of these. My bf uses it mostly, and he seems to really like it and how you can control the tv with it and check simple things on his PS4 without having to use the controller. We normally use it when we are watching Netflix.

Great remote if you dont want to use your controller for movies

I'd give it 5 stars, but my firestick won't recognize it when both are in pairing mode. Works for PS4 Pro and my Vizio 42". Found a workaround using an external hard drive and a laptop for the firestick issue, but it would be nice to use the remote. The learning button worked perfect, as the default input button didn't work for the TV.

Easy to use and easy to pair works well with PS4!!

It connects to the PS4 through bluetooth, so it chews through batteries. It also goes to sleep after 15 minutes, and you have to wake it back up. It takes a good 10 seconds to wake up, reconnect to the PS4, and be ready for you to use. It's the best remote I've found for the PS4, but nothing compared to the excellent PS3 media remote.

I like having this remote to control the console, eject games, etc. I think I just have uncoordinated and/or big fingers, but I don't think I have ever mastered the art of activating the PS4 console of getting it to do what I want it to do. So, I got the remote. Makes everything easier (at least for me). It's a pretty standard remote - so once you link it by Bluetooth to your console, it's pretty easy to use.

This product works with your tv and the PS4. Works perfect!

This remote is great for people who don't want to turn there controllers on and off when watching streaming services or Blu-rays. The only real issues I have with it are, it has to be turned back on after being idle for a couple minutes and the O button won't work on the Hulu app. (That seems more like a problem with the Hulu app though)

It's not perfect but it works well, the PS3 remote seemed more solid in my opinion. I have actually used the universal functions on this remote and they work well except inconsistent with my elite receiver with regard to adjusting the volume , it always wants to adjust the TV . I am mostly happy about not having to charge up my controllers every day anymore and I am glad to use one remote to shut everything down
