Easy to use and program. Better than using the controller.

Purchase the remote to control my PS4 and could not be happier. Even though the remote turns its self off after about an hour to conserve battery power, I actually like this feature so the Bluetooth pairing does not eat through batteries. Never owned a console remote before this purchase, but wish I did sooner!

The remote works well. Battery life is terrible. Bought the remote when it first came out, I am now on my 3rd set of batteries.

I love having a remote for watching tv on the ps4. Authentic cord cutter. There's no reason for me to ever pay the cable companies again. Buttons work. Remote is sleek. Satisfied.

I bought this hoping it was backwards compatible with PS3 but unfortunately it was not, it does work very well for PS4 though

If you've tried watching Blu-Ray on PS4 then you know sometimes the controller is not the best tool for manipulating menus. This problem is fixed by this third party but officially licensed controller. It usually retails for $29.99 but I highly suggest getting it at $10 because after it all it's just a universal remote with added PS4 functions. It doesn't control the system and TV at the same time but requires you to press the small PS4 or TV button to send each device commands. In TV mode it acts through the IR receiver while in PS4 mode it acts through bluetooth. It is light and has a good shape for holding. The buttons are soft and the remote feels sturdy. Again, try to find it for $10 as it has been on sale before.

Ok, so the remote works great with the PS4. Only draw back is when using it to also control your television. The remote can only handle one device at a time. Example: the remote should be able to control the PS4 and a second command, like lowering the volume on my tv, at the same time but it doesn't. You have to constantly remember to press the TV button at the top of the remote to change devices then press the PS4 button again to control that device. Becomes annoying after a while. Also, you would think this remote would work with the PlayStation TV, but it doesn't. Overall this is a good remote for the price especially if you will be using it to control the PlayStation Vue app. Otherwise I would recommend getting a Logitech universal remote. The PS4 can be controlled by televisions that us Smart Connect to control devices via HDMI. Like my Samsung Smart tv.

Cool new feature is that it can control RF devices. It is kind of slow to come on when using it with the PS4. The old PS3 remote was always on and worked instantly.

This remote works well and does what it is supposed to do. I know some people had an issue with having to turn it back on after it falls asleep. But all you have to do is hit the home button once, wait for the red light at the top of the remote to come on and you are good to go. Otherwise, it is a great remote and keeps you from having to drain the battery on your dualshock controller.

If you will be using the PS4 for streaming this is a must have.. This way does not leave the controller on the whole time and waste the battery. Simple to you use and setup. Very similar to the ps3 remote.

Was great for two weeks. Now it doesn't work and I have re set it up twice and will only work for a short time then unsink.
