I enjoy having this remote because it makes watching Playstation Vue or blu-rays easy. The only thing that annoys me is the remote will "go to sleep" if you don't touch any buttons for awhile, and then you have to remember to hit the PS4 button on the upper left before you can push pause, play, etc.

This remote works with some apps, not all. Still trying to figure it out.

Wanted a remote to control the PS4 for watching streaming services and dvds. Works as advertised, but sometimes get annoyed that it went to sleep so I have to wake it up before I can pause or whatever. Batteries last forever though.

This remote synced up with my surround sound system, tv and PlayStation in minutes, works perfect, the only small issue is it isn't backlit,but other than that buttons are smooth, no sticking and works at a long distance

This was a major improvement over the bulky PS3 remote. A slim design with better buttons and easier to use.

I think it's crazy that the PS3 remote wont work with a PS4.. Just a money grap really, One issue I have is when I use my PS4 for watching moves I always have to hit the PS4 button to get this going. never had to do that on my PS3 one

As far as a remote control goes for a game platform, this is a good one. Makes the DVD player into a DVD player when watching movies. It has all the functionality that you would want. I do get frustrated sometimes because it has to be pointed at the PS 4 to work. A good of value for the money.

The build quality on this remote is excellent, with perhaps the exception that it feels a little bit narrow in my hand. The tactile feel of the buttons is excellent. The reason I give this unit 3 stars is because it lacks a subtitles button or an access to a menu in which I could select subtitles as I could do with the PS3 media remote

Even though it's not made by Sony, the remote feels solid and nice. It's an official playstation product.

Upon initial setup of the remote with my devices, I ran into several problems particularly with the TV and PlayStation. They refused to acknowledge the universal remote. Now it may be that my TV is rather dated (pre-2012) or that I was pushing the limits of how many devices I could hook up to this thing, but after 2 hours of troubleshooting I was able to get the remote to connect to all of my devices. Works like a charm. The only thing that frustrates me is when I have to pause the TV. The remote tends to enter "sleep mode" to conserve battery, but it takes at least one minute to cut back on. Fix that and we'll have a winner.

I was excited to finally see a remote for the ps4. Very disappointed however that Vudu and YouTube are not supported.

Purchased this remote to use Playstaion console to stream Playstation Vue as a replacement to the gaming controller. It was easy to setup and sync with TV controls. Range isn't the best, but much better than using the gaming controller.

Having this remote makes it easier to use they the game control. Just make sure you have two AAA batteries for it as they are not included.

I got this remote because we were planning on switching to PS Vue for our cable provider but then my other company lowered their price when I called to cancel. I decided to keep the remote since we use the PS4 for HBO and what not. I programmed it to replace the TV and cable remote and has worked really well as a universal remote. There are a few capabilities I am still trying to figure out how to make work. Even with that in mind I wish I had bought this remote a year ago. I now only need 1 remote to control the living room.

I always get the remote with the system. I have using the controller to watch movies. This is of great benefit to me when laying in bed on a lazy and rainy day just watching movies. It functions as its supposed to.

The remote is awesome expect for the use on Hulu you can't go back pages on Hulu Everything is awesome

Works well, but took awhile to figure it out. Someone who is totally familiar with the playstation will have no trouble! Our son helped! Glad we switched all our Netflix, etc to the playstation as it works a lot better and having one remote is nice.

Not overly impressed, but it's the only option and it works better than the controller which I hated.

I'm always looking for a remote to go with my gaming system because I watch movies in my down time. This remote does what it is supposed to and then some. I'm happy with my purchase and I purchased it at a time it was a good price. If you are thinking about this get it, what can hurt.
