I like this remote much better than the first PS4 remote but the keypad needs backlighting! Also, this remote seems to have issues pairing with most of my devices so it isn't really as convenient as I expected.

I like the remote. I wish it had a voice command option. Other than that , the only issues I have are some of the buttons are very close together and small and the power button on remote does not turn off the PS4.

Works seemlessly with my TV, Sound bar, and Playstation4! Contains all controls necessary. With the PlayStation, it doesn’t seem to work as quickly as the PS4 Controller, but is hardly noticeable. Overall, great value!

Honestly, it’s a remote control. It works so that’s good. Following the instructions it’s easy to sync to the PS4. My only complaint is that I wish the Play/Stop/Pause buttons were the same size like the PS3 version.

Buying this remote was for the sole purpose of making our lives easier. The kids have their playstation 4 plugged in and to use the online functions (netflix) this is so much easier than figuring out whether to push X or O or Z.

I like the remove for watching blu-rays, but there is a minor annoyance that it appears to go to 'sleep' after a period of inactivity. Pressing the PS button wakes it back up so you can start using it again. Otherwise it works well.

The Bluetooth sync is not as solid as the PS3's iteration. I have intermittent response issues while the remote still shows connected, this is not a problem with controllers so I doubt it is the PS4 Bluetooth. I plan to swap out and see if the results are the same or if I may have a bad egg...

Much more convenient for you if you like watching movies on your ps4

Had a little issues setting it up mainly because I wanted to also set it up with my tv. Little difficult understand trying to read the manual but youtubing how to program is really easy to do. It's just like the playstation 3 remote.

Its great but the button dont light up so you cannot see in the dark

Works great with the ps4. Easy to setup and with TV and sound bar. I haven't figured out if there is an equivalent to r1 and l1 buttons, but still Happy with the purchase. Easier to use PlayStation vue with the remote.

I know it is for energy saving, but it is a bit annoying to pick up the remote and have to re-pair it with the PS4 after it sits for awhile. Just something you have to get used to.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to control my TV, PS4, and soundbar without having to use multiple remotes. So far, the remote has done its job splendidly. The setup for each device was easy, and the devices respond to my remote presses quickly. If you have a multi-device setup around your PS4 then this is a solid device to own.

I recommend this to any PS4 owner, it helps you scroll your system when you just want to watch movies. Also, it reduces your video game controller's battery life which is a double win.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to use the dualshock 4 for my entertainment needs. The remote gets the job done but like the dualshock 4 battery compared to the dualshock 3. This doesn't last as long as the remote for PS3.

Now that Vue has launched nationwide this is a perfect accessory for regular TV viewing with a PS4 console. The DualShock 4 is great, but the battery life isn't great for sitting around all day with a lightbar while watching shows. As an added bonus, I can also use it to control the audio level (which I previously would have to put down the controller and get a remote for). Not exactly necessary, but a welcome improvement.

I use the remote the same way someone tries to use a cable remote, but I have noticed some significant flaws with how the remote works. Many of the buttons are similar in feel, so you routinely must hunt and peck instead of having the ability to feel for the right buttons. The channel button does not work for the Vue. There is no light up function for use in the dark. And the remote shuts off quickly after not being used, which forces you to hold the PlayStation button for an extended period of time before each use to make sure it is on. Overall it is certainly better than the controller if you are planning to use PlayStation Vue, but I find myself wishing they stuck with the majority of the design of the PS3 remote or took some hints from other major cable companies.

I'm pleased with this remote so far. Have been using it for about 2 weeks now to compliment PlayStation Vue. I didn't want to watch tv using the gaming controller all the time so this was perfect for us. It controls our surround system, tv and PS4 and we haven't had any issues so far. It's lightweight. My husband was concerned that the price is much less than other universal remotes but haven't had issues so far.

I was looking for a solution to controlling my tv, amp and ps4 which this remote works perfectly for and just for $30. Before I had to use 3 separate remotes just to what Netflix and volume control was broken on my amp remote. Now I just need one remote. Just make sure you use manual programing the remote when you start using it. The automatic programing doesn't work.
