This remote does not work well with the PS4. It is slow to connect and many of the functions do not work as expected. The Dual Shock controller is the way to go

I got tired of using my controller to navigate the PS4 (mainly through Netflix), so I bought this remote. Syncing to the PS4 and to my TV was irritating, but finally got it to sync/work. But everything works great now!

I had this remote for about a year and the audio through your receiver only function did not operate. I noticed a post in a tech forum that PDP had put out a new model. I contacted them at their website and they told me to ship out my old remote and they would ship me the new one at zero cost other my shipping. I received the new remote in a week and it is GREAT! Check with PDP's site if you have the same issue.

I was looking for a solution to controlling my tv, amp and ps4 which this remote works perfectly for and just for $30. Before I had to use 3 separate remotes just to what Netflix and volume control was broken on my amp remote. Now I just need one remote. Just make sure you use manual programing the remote when you start using it. The automatic programing doesn't work.

Solid remote for your PS4 system. I sometimes even use for just navigating around the UI rather than using a controller. Only annoyance, which is unavoidable because the remote uses Bluetooth, is that it turns itself off after a short time to save battery life. I always forget and when I pick it up to use it I have a moment of "What's wrong with this thing?!?" and then remember to press the PS button to turn it back on.

Great remote for the PS4. Made searching for games and movies easier. Would have given it a five star if I did not have to press the PS4 button after 30 minutes of non use.

I wanted to his remote to go along with using Sony's Vue TV service and to those ends it works very well. If not used for a few minutes it seems to disconnect, but that is the only hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience.

I got tired of having my controller stay on for an entire movie and so this was a good resource to use for watching movies and Netflix and what not. If you have had a similar issue then I would for sure suggest this item.

Don't expect this remote to work as well as the PS3 remote; it doesn't. Here are a few of the more annoying issues: 1) The "audio punch-through", or the ability to separately control your AV system volume while another remote function is selected (PS4, TV, etc), does not work. This means to control the volume, you have to switch the remote function to "TV" or "AMP" to adjust volume and then back to PS4 for video control. 2) Many of the buttons you'd expect to use to control your applications (circle for back) do not work. When you start delving into the deeper menus, you find yourself stranded without a way to get out! Keep your game controller handy! 3) Bluetooth disconnects quickly, requiring time for the remote to "wake-up" before you can pause, stop, rewind, etc.

I had the remote for the PS3 so it was a No Brainier for me. I had to have the PS4 remote. It works just as good as I knew it would. Plus I love the slim size. Must have item.

Good media controller for PS4. Works with my TV, and Speaker bar. The only issue the batteries die very quickly. Wish this item had a rechargeable battery, but overall a great way to watch VUE and other media apps.

this is a great universal remote... note it is not compatible with older dvd players

So I bought this because watching Netflix or Hulu on my PS4 seemed impossible to me. By the time I'd get to watch Television, the batteries on both of my dual shocks would be dead because my brother and sister don't put them on the charger. This thing has made it to where I only have to keep up with one remote because I can control the Television volume on it and it's not dead when I go to try and use it.

This does everything I need it to do, but it does time out like the PS4 controllers, so it will not be working if you do not use it very often. Press the PS button and it turns back on, but it is a small annoyance.

Been waiting for this ever since I got my ps4. Bought time!

Everything about it is great except for a few minor nickpicks: The interface on screen has certain buttons assigned to do certain things, but the universal remote does not have them, like the L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons. so, you have to press the arrow button until you reach that button. Not a deal breaker, but can be a *slight* inconvenience when entering items that require capital letters and or symbols.

I use my remote for Playstation Vue, Netflix, Vudu as well as Hulu Plus. It's nice to be able to use a remote and not my controller. It will also work with most sound systems and your TV as well, and your cable box.

I bought this to use with the Playstation Vue service. The remote controls the app just fine. I also have the PS3 remote which works much better. The buttons are bigger, has dedicated L1-L3 and R1-R3 buttons, and responds faster. This remote seems to go to sleep, and takes several seconds to respond after inactivity. That's my biggest gripe about it. It's also pricey at $30. You are able to program it to operate your TV, which is nice. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only remote that works with the PS4. It works, albeit with some minor annoyances. I would have been happier paying around $20 for it.
