With so many people ditching cable, I decided to give it a try and use all of those apps on my PS4. I needed a remote that would allow me to move around without having to use my controller. This did the job!

The remote is great, it works great, but it took a bit of playing around to get it to work with our Sony TV for some reason. It worked perfectly out of the box with our Westinghouse TV for some reason?

It works with my tv and PlayStation. I can't complain

I've been waiting for the remote for PS4. I had the PS3 remote, and the new PS4 remote is right on par with the previous model. No problems and no worries about it.

It's a remote. You press buttons, the PS4 does stuff.

Fancy just does the job. Not as well made as sony's

Does what it says it does, no longer running my PS4 Controller's battery down for netflix, or having to turn my controller on just to change a video. AWESOME!

My Sony XBR TV’s remote broke. That was a terribly frustrating remote. Not intuitive. This remote looks similar and is 1/2 the cost of a replacement. Since I have a PS4 Pro I thought this would be a good work around. It works fine for the PS4 but I do not have full functionality of my TV. For example the volume doesn’t work. I tried every sony code for pairing too. You’d think since it’s the same manufacture it would of worked without a hitch. Oh well

Works as intended. The battery life is meh and it would be nice if you could control the basic tv functions (volume/channel) without having to switch back and forth from ps4 control to tv control.

This is good for what I needed the remote for. I was tired of using my controller and have it die on me. This remote works okay with controlling my TV. But I mostly use it for my PS4.

Would give it 5 stars, but set up is a bit tricky.

I've been looking for something other than my gaming controller to use when watching my streaming services on my PS4. This has been perfect. Once you get used to hitting the blue PS4 button on the controller after 30 mins, it means you can binge watch stuff and not worry about draining your controller battery. Plus it's like using the remote for your DVD/BluRay player.

Nice, simple remote for PS4 that is easy to use. Works for my other home theater products as well. My only complaint is that the buttons are difficult to see in a dark room...No backlight on it.

Works fine, no issues. Was very easy to pair w PS4 and w Phillips Tv. Only thing that I don't love is the feel of the remote, it's a little thin compared to my PS3 remote that I've had for years.

The switching between TV and PS4 could be bigger button, my wife has problems just picking this up and using it for both. Other than that, great remote to use while watching BluRays or streaming.

This remote was the answer to all my problems. We watch TV at night through the PlayStation but I would wake up in the middle of the night and fumble with my husbands PlayStation gaming remote to turn the TV off. I'm not a gamer and didn't understand how to work that thing. He bought me this remote and I LOVE IT! It has a timer on it too!!

My kids go to the neighbor kids house a lot with our controllers to play Minecraft which leaves me with no way to get to Netflix. This remote is a life saver. Highly recommend. * Don't get this as a replacement for a game controller. I don't know if you can actually play many games with it, but it definitely serves the purpose of navigating the menus and watching the video apps.
