It works particularly well with the PSVUE. The major downside is that the remote will just stop communicating with the PS4 despite showing that it is connected. It then requires you to re-pair the device. No rhyme or reason. Quite obnoxious for a PlayStation dedicated peripheral.

It works just like any other remote, but you have to turn it on first I had a similar remote for my PS3 and you could press any button and it would respond within a few seconds. With this remote you have to press the PS button, wait for it to wake up, then you can press your desired buttons. That's a bit of a pain, but it seems to save battery when compared to my old PS3 remote.

Not crazy expensive if you have to buy it separately and it CAN be programmed to work your TV like a universal remote.

It won't even control my Sony soundbar past turning on and off. Can't control volume, mode, or source. Nothing other than off/on. Same with my TV. At least I can feel more "natural" moving around my media as oppossed to using the game controller, two hands and all. I should have researched other available controllers.

Easy to set up, and works great. Very glad that I got this as it acts just like a regular TV remote and I can do just about everything with it from turning on my tv to accessing the various features of Vue. Thanks!!
