With the PS Vue TV service; this remote is a must buy as navigating the guide with a controller is cumbersome!

Love the remote. The only downside is that it goes to sleep after about 30 minutes. So if you’re watching a movie and it’s been a while since you used the remote and you want to pause, you have to press the PlayStation button to wake it up, give it a couple seconds to connect to the PlayStation, and then it works. Everything else about this remote is great

This is a great alternative option to constantly turning on the PS4 controller. This two-in-one is amazing. I only use my old PS4 system for TV in my room and it's perfect for saving batteries on the controller for when I feel like playing a game. This was definitely one of my favorite purchases and it's useful.

Programming devices are ergonomically painful. Some of the buttons are very small. Also missing some of the buttons that made the PS3 remote so nice.

If you use your ps4 to watch any streaming videos or even blu-ray discs, then this is a great addition for pausing and playing those videos. Saves you from having to fumble with the controller with these functions. It is also bluetooth compatible, along with using a regular signal for your television functions.

Good remote, only downside is you have to press the device option that you want to use every time before you can use the remote. very easy to set up.

Great remote but sometimes needs a bit of troubleshooting to connect to the ps4. Still waiting for the party station to put off buttons on their remotes

We found that the only problem with the remote is it may not always connect to the ps4. Problem solved by taking a battery out and putting it back in.

I only bought this remote to turn on my playstation but my sony remote that came with my tv can be used to navigate thru to ps4 menu for videos and such.

We use it for PlayStation Vue. Wish they would update Vue to be 100% compatible with the remote. Also hate that it turns off because it's Bluetooth.

This remote works really nicely with my tv to make it simple to just use one remote for everything when I’m not gaming. I use my PS4 for video streaming and my tv so not needing multiple remotes to change sources, volume, and logging in to my accounts it really nice!

awesome addition to my ps4. the pass thru volume is a life i didnt know i needed to live. great remote all around. worth the buy.

Nice remote, simple setup and works great for both the ps4 and the TV I have it hooked up to. I will say in my experience, having a Panasonic TV, it was much faster to manually input the code for my TV found at the back of the manual than it was to perform the Automatic programing.

I had the old PS3 remote and this one seems better. Although the layout is odd and some of the buttons are really small and it's easy to fat finger.

This isnt the only option for a ps4 but it is the best for streaming and movies and best of all its Sony certified

I purchase this to use primarily as a replacement remote but in when I was programming this remote, it's range was so powerful that my second Sony Soundbar downstairs was activated

This remote works very well for most things but unfortunately is not supported fully by all apps (Hulu, Netflix, HBO Now). Most of them you can get away with by using the x,circle,square,triangle buttons on the remote however. If you have PS Vue this remote works excellent with it and I'd highly recommend. Hoping they continue to add more support over time.

Remote works well once it's hooked up. The main problem I have with it is that after about 15 minutes, you have to resynch it with the PS4. Other than that all the functions seem to work as expected

I purchased this remote because I don't like use a gaming controller to operate my PS4 since I mainly use it for watching DVDs. It's been much easier to operate my console using this remote. Thank you Sony for making this available for people who are not gamers but use the PS4 for watching movies.

This remote works great for my PS4. I bought it to avoid using a controller while watching vue service. Only negative is that it is not made by sony
