I have a PS4 and wanted to play my Blu-rays on it, but the controls on the Dual Shock controller were a quirky. This solves all those problems. Works great on the PS4 and replaces your TV's remote. Now one remote does it all. Easy to program too.

This remote gets the job done. It works well and I haven't had any problems with it. If your looking for a remote this is a great choice.

I recently got a ps4 pro for my house and moved the old ps4 to my bedroom for bluray player but needed a remote. At first i felt he remote was a bit pricey but it worked for my tv as well. Still think the price a bit high but there are no other universal remotes that work for ps4.

This one is a true remote does not turn on when bumped only draw back is it's hard to link to system when battery dies

I like that I can use the remote for TV volume, power and input but I can't use it for my Polk audio sound bar. Cons: Does not work with all apps. Has to turn off to conserve battery and doesn't instantly turn back on when needed again. When my wife uses the ps4 to watch her shows (who I thought of when I bought the remote) she grabs the ps4 controller instead of the remote. It's a cool accessory but not a 5 star in my opinion.

Works on PS4 pro; only negative thing is the buttons are so small and close together, hard to use without looking at the remote.

tough to get to sync up with your PS4. but great to use for movies and streaming

This is the second Universal Media Remote for PS4 that I've bought and the results are the same. They were purchased specifically for Vue purposes, but they won't even work for basic PS4 navigation. Sync the remote to TV, use it awhile and then it stops functioning. The IR still seems fine as it'll turn off/on, raise/lower volume, etc on my TV, but the PS4 features disappear altogether. Don't buy this.

The batteries are killed amazingly fast. Make sure you have your PS4 set to turn off controllers after 10 minutes of being inactive.

Works well. Sony doesn't make a PS4 remote so this one gets the job done. Sometimes it looses pairing but overall I would recommend

It would have a 5 if it would simply stay connected rather than having to press the PS button every time the PlayStation is turned on.

I must say, I'm rather disappointed with this remote. I am currently a PS VUE subscriber so I was hoping a normal remote would assist with live tv viewing and for movies. This is not the case. Remote constantly powers down while watching TV. Which is fine until you get a notification on your Playstation saying it's about to enter power saving mode unless you become "active" in 10 minutes. The only way to get the remote to cut back on and work again is by pressing the PS button. Which automatically takes you back to the home screen thus interrupting watching TV. If you had experience with the PS3 remote, you will be HIGHLY disappointed with this one for PS4.

Easy to program and works well with my whole home theater setup. Only slight hiccup is that you have to "wake it up" if you haven't used it in a while; I'd estimate any time over thirty minutes. Still, very useful overall.

It works well. It paired fairly easily once I read the directions twice. It is a little frustrating that it goes into a sleep mode of sorts when not used for a while and you have to wake it up when you want to use it.

I got this remote because sometimes trying to navigate with a gaming control can be difficult. This remote is compatible with the PS4 (it's a Playstation product). It was easy to set up and has proven to be a useful tool while watching movies on my system. I'm really glad I bought it.

I stream Netflix, CBS All Access and watch dvd's on my PS4. I'm not a big fan of using a game controller to pause, play, fast-forward, etc, so I checked the reviews and found this controller. I really like it. It's got the standard PS4 triangle, circle, X, and box buttons for those tv apps that aren't too smart, but it's also got the standard remote controls as well. It goes into power saving after an hour, so I just have to press the Playstation button on the remote to wake it up.

It works as it should be. Very convenient to watch Blu-Ray while traveling. No need for additional DVD player. Worth every pennies!

I was about to go crazy, always having to use one my son's controllers for the PS4 to watch movies. We always used the remote for the old PS3, so when I read the reviews that the Remote for the PS4 gave the same functionality, I ordered one from Best Buy right away. Works awesome.
