Nothing special about this remote other than its the best and most affordable way to control bluray movies on your ps4

My son recieved this for Christmas. He says it is so much better than using the actual contoller

Connected just fine to my ps4 but to my sony tv It doesnt I've looked up online and there are many people having the same issue you have to look up a manufacturer code if the auto connect doesnt work and there are no batteries that come with the remote and the remote has been out for awhile and they havent fixed the issue.

This remote is ok....better than the game remotes for movie playback. However the ps3 remote had better options and just seemed to work better. If I am watching a movie and I’ve t touched the remote in a while and I try to pause the movie, I have to hit the ps button again and then the pause button. Just inconvenient.

Makes it way easier to navigate the system when you just want to watch a movie on the media playback/netflix or just want to play some music off spotify. Just love how I don't have to use my dualshock controller and turn it off every 15 mins when I'm using it.

I use my PS4 as a streaming device more than a gaming console. My controller we die in the middle of picking a show a surprising amount. This controller just needs batteries and will last a long time. So much easier to navigate the PS4 with this remote.

Nice design. Recommended if your are not familiar with dual shock video controls. Blutooth connected. Buy if on sale.

This seemed like a good idea for me at the time. I’m like: “I can get a PS4 remote and save the battery on my controllers." The remote is nice but it wasn’t compatible with my TV, nor was it compatible with my amazon fire stick. On top of all that my PS4 controllers still lost power without me even using them. So, back to the store this remote went...

Great universal remote. Can watch apps on PS without having to use the game controller. Even has a guide button for Direct TV. Only thing I would add is lights to see the buttons in the dark. Only because I watch tv in bed.

Very nice and straightforward universal remote. Be sure to scroll all the way up and down the device list in order to find it for pairing. Otherwise works perfectly and as expected

It really doesn't keep the last button pressed from what it seems in memory. You have to re-click the ps4 button to reactivate the remote within the settings.

This remote works great. My only wish is that it came with rechargeable battery like the regular ps4 remotes.

I love to use my console for media, and never learned to use the game controller so this is perfect with all the traditional tv/dvd buttons. It is also is a universal remote, so you can also operate your tv & amplifier too.

I bought this because it is much easier to use the controls on the remote than on the PS4 controller. The buttons are all well labeled and easy to use. I also had a controller for my PS3 but that was not compatible with the PS4. I recommend this product.

Con: cannot play videos games Pros: Works best for movie functions. Great for browsing. Good universal remote.

Works very good easy to set up. If you use PlayStation vue it has a guide button so it makes surfing channels easy

One of the biggest issues I had with this remote is that you have to constantly remember the PS4 button before hitting the PS logo button to turn on the PS4. Since it's considered a 'universal remote', if the PS4 was not the last device you used, then the system won't turn on if you press the PS button. For the price though you can't complain. Works great with PlayStation Vue.

I have enjoyed using this to watch media on my ps4 but it doesnt seem as good for the tv such as changing channels
