Got it from a discount and I really want one to replace the PS3 version I had...

Very nice and straightforward universal remote. Be sure to scroll all the way up and down the device list in order to find it for pairing. Otherwise works perfectly and as expected

I bought 4 of these from different stores and they all didn't do a feature they said they did. (They will not control an amp volume while in ps4 mode.) While discussing this with the manufacturer (PDP) they said they would send me one that works in 6-8 weeks if I wanted one. I really think this is a travesty if I have to buy a product at a store, the manufacturer knows full well it doesn't work, then they ask you to wait 6-8 weeks to get one that does what they say it does. It is a pity really. Other than that, it is an alright remote that does vaguely what they say it does and only malfunctions about once a week. When it does, you have to unpair it from your ps4 then re-pair it for it to work again. Also, the remote is designed to "go to sleep" to save batteries. Which it does, and then it takes 5-20 seconds to wake it back up to use it. The problem with this is it sleeps in about 10 minutes so you spend a lot of time waiting for it to wake up just so you can say...quickly turn down the volume because it suddenly got obnoxiously loud.... Buy at your own risk.

Connected seamlessly with the PS4 console and would definitely purchase again!!

only bought this because my controllers were not working and had planned on returning it. its so great that I decided to keep it. Definitely easier for non gamer girlfriends to use for watching movies on the PS4 than the actual controller.

Get sick of accidentally hittin button on the controller and messin up movies.

My girlfriend would get so frustrated when watching a Blu-ray on our PS4. She said the game controller wasn't easy to use. So I purchased this remote and it has made her much happier. Now she can watch movies using the buttons she is used to.

Really handy for watching streaming services on PS4. I also have it set up to operate my TV and sound system. Be aware, for whatever reason, the circle button won't take you back in Hulu. Works perfectly fine in Netflix and everywhere else though.

If you lost your remote for your tv and have a ps4, this universal remote is perfect for you to control without having to use a controller. Easy to use and programming from instructions was simple.

This universal remote is very good as was the remote for the PS3. It’s a lot easier to navigate than using one of the gaming controllers especially if you’re utilizing the other functions of the PS4 besides gaming.

Sometimes I tend to watch Movies on my PS4. This works much better than using a controller.

If it is used as your main remote the batteries run out fast. If just for PS4 movies/videos should last awhile.

I bought this to use in place of the controller pad for watching Playstation Vue. Much easier and more TV like.

I owned the Small Media Remote for my ps4 & batteries would die way too fast. Since I bought this New Media Remote this one is Amazing I was Able to use it for my ps4 & Tv so I don't have to use 2 different remotes!

This remote does generally work for ps4 media playback. The issues are that the manual is wrong on programing it, the power button doesn't do anything, and it turns itself off to save the batteries too quickly. They should have used AA batteries and given it a 2 hour turn off as it's annoying to have to turn on the remote every time you want to pause a movie or show.

From time to time it registers multiple button clicks when only pressed once.

I love this remote. I really hate using the gaming controls for watching movies and netflix, so I bought this remote. It works great. My husband even says it is a really nice remote. It was worth the money in my opinion. Wish I bought it sooner.

I bought this remote to make it easier to use my PlayStation as a bluray player. Works well, but has to be woke up much like the normal gaming remote.

Got this for PS4, wife loves using it to control blu ray and Netflix rather than dual shock controller
