I had the one for PS3 but this one is even better.

This makes using the PlayStation so much simpler! You can surf the web and use the Playstation with you TV while your controller charges. It's wonderful!!! Completely worth the money!

Best purchase remote if you like watching movies with on the PS4. It is easier than the controller which can get bumped and skip.

I was leery with the bad reviews of this remote, but since there isn't anything else out there like this, I bought it anyway. I have been happy with it so far. It works like the old PS3 remote did. I only use it for the Blue ray function, and for Playstation Vue. It does timeout, but that is easily remedied, without going back to the PS main screen. Overall a great remote.

This remote would do the job and keep you away from games and play movies.

Does not work with ROKU (that I know of). Runs my LG TV, Vizio Soundbar, and PS4. It's great. Took a few tries to sync it with the PS4. Now if I could just get it to work with my Shield TV...

This remote is a good size, and helps control not only the PlayStation 4, but also TV, and other components, just program it with the guide that’s included and start using. :)

Nice and handy. Don't have to use my game controllers to operate my PS4 when watching movies. I was super excited when I noticed that there was finally a remote control for my PS4!

It’s a pretty good remote. I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s what you would expect. Got it on sale so it’s good for the price.

They finally made the remote for the ps4 so I don't have to use my controller to play movies. I don't like how they made it a universal style remote. I think the ps3 one was a better design but that one doesn't work for the ps4. If you don't need one yet I would wait to see if a different style comes out later.

Needed a remote because I don’t play games on the PlayStation So I needed this to make it simple to operate and If I decide to play games I can use the PlayStation controller too

Other than losing the pairing once, this remote seems ok.

Okay if you love your PS4 and use it for more then sheer gaming but hate the battery life of the remotes then you need this little bad boy because it makes life so much easier trust me on that.

Finally, a universal remote that is easy to program and works seamlessly with all my equipment. AND...I don't have to use the PS4 controller to operate the PS4 when I'm not gaming. Awesome.
