I use the PS4 to watch Netflix & playstation vue. This product allows a non-gamer like myself to utilize it's function as a remote for both the TV and PS4.

I had enjoyed this item with my PS3, and was looking forward to this coming out for the PS4. I am disappointed in the units performance. It tends to be slow to respond to a command, and takes multiple tries before the PS4 reads the command. Hopefully, others will not experience this problem which makes its value to me questionable.

This makes using the PS4 as media player much, much easier and doesn't look and feel near as awkward as using a game controller to rewind, pause, etc. a movie.

I use my Playstation for all of my media needs- Blue Ray player, game console, and video streaming. This remote makes all those actions super easy.

If you intend on using the PS4 for more than gaming the media remote is a great accessory. Much easier to use for blu-Ray functionality.

Works great. Very similar to the one for he PS3 remote. Recommend for anyone tired of using a game controller when watching movies and streaming shows.

We bought this when we got psvue and had it hooked up to control our entire tv system and worked great

Was looking for an alternative to navigate through menus and through movies instead of the PS4 controller. It's always difficult to figure out which button maps to what when you're watching a movie. Trigger buttons always get pushed when you lay the controller down but with this media remote its simple. To setup I believe it was just the volume down and PS button together for about 10 seconds or so to initiate the pairing. After pairing, moving through menus is simple. I tried using it as a game controller for a simple game but it didn't recognize it as such. Otherwise it's works great.

Seriously, what's better than free? Came with the console, but I'd be willing to spend the $25 to purchase another one, if need be. Good, basic remote.

I was very surprised at the quality and level of performance of this controller. I paid a fraction of the logitech version, and am very happy with it.

I recently subscribed to Playstation Vue and dumped my cable subscription. This remote is much more natural for controlling my TV experience on the PS4.

Love this remote but need to figure out how to program it to work with my Sony tv so that I can do all things, tv/blu-ray/surround sound and PS4 all on it.

Control worked well for our switch to Playstation Vue. Couldnt ever get the volume to control the audio the way I wanted, but found a work around with the colored soft keys. Would be nice if you didn't have to tell the control what you wanted to control each time. Other than those issues, the remote is great.

Was looking for an all in one remote to work with all of my sony products connect to the PS4. Wonderful item.

This remote works great for DVD, Blu Ray viewing. It will turn on the PS4 and all the controls function. Pairs easily, works great, what more could you want?

This is a great piece of tech. Makes using the ps4 for netflicks, hulu, etc easier. The instructions are wrong but the correct ones can be found online

The great controller' easy Bluetooth set up for my TV in DVR and sound bar also very easy to use and set up. will recommend this to my friends thanks

Now that I have the remote. I don't have to use the bulky controller when watching Netflix or Hulu. I can also control the TV with the same remote

Easy to program. Purchased it due to shoulder surgery. Was able to program my TV, PS4 and my Direct TV within 5 minutes. Now I use this remote only.
