It is a replacement for one of the same brand that I had for 15 years. It was still working well, but the battery wore out. This one is quieter, less vibration, and shaves closer than the old one. I got an extra 3 months out of the old one after the battery wouldn't hold a charge by plugging it in during use. I won't be able to do that with this one when the time comes.

Purchased for a gift. He loved it! He has used other shavers in the past, but likes the close shave he gets with this one.

Product is easy to use. Holds charge well. Gives close shave.

My previous shaver gave me a slightly closer shave, but it would get hot & irritate my skin. This one stays cooler, is quiet and doesn't make a big mess.

Charges fast and trims well bought one for my father for Christmas and he likes it also. Very reasonable on price.

I was pleasantly surprised with this new style razor. Many good design parts. Quick charging and nice on the face.

Been shaving 38 years. My facial hair grows in all directions, making shaving with a blade and getting a close shave difficult. I used my dad's triple headed electric razor back in the 70"s, and tried other style electric shavers in the 80's. I grew weary of shavers that required going over, and over same area to get a close shave, only to find stubble in areas I just couldn't cut with electric shaver. This shaver is the best electric I have found. It doesn't get hot, or rough up my face and neck. I also have not had any creation of in-grown hairs. I dry shave, using no pre-shave lotions. I do wash and completely dry face prior to shaving.

He says it shaves great for the price. He has sensitive skin and this shaver doesnt cause irritation.

My husband, said the Philips Norelco - Shaver 6100, is the best electric shaver that he has owned.

This way razor is one of the best razors I have ever bought in a while because a nice close shave.

I got a close shave the first time. Did not have to train my beard. Battery last two weeks plus shaving every day. Like the shape and how it conforms to my face while shaving.

This is the first time I try an electric razor, and as the instructions mentioned, it took my skin 2 weeks to get used to it... and know I´m very happy with it! The product works well, does a good shave with convenience and can be used under running water (yes, I have bring it into the shower). The battery life is excellent, I took it on a trip for a week and I didn´t have to recharge it (disclosure, I have light facial hair). The main reason I don´t give it 5 stars is the lack of a travel puch, and the fact that the charger requires the full stand, which makes it bulky.

Its a Norelco. I expect it to be good. Good for a quick shave dry, better in the shower.

Not as close as a Gilette but still quite good. Thought it would be a little faster but still can't complain. I find that sometimes I need a "touch up" in the evening where that was not necessary with a blade shave. That is to be expected though I guess....

Good shaver that doesn't leave any stuble, or irritation! Keeps my skin looking smooth.

This razor is awesome it shaves really close and is easy to clean and take care of.

Works great! Its very easy to clean, replacement heads are also pretty affordable.

Price and product are really really good. The way to save some money easier !

So far it is a great razor, works great, even my teenage son likes using it.
