I just installed this amp to replace my failed kenwood excelon x600f. I did not expect the clarity, or quality from such a compact amp, especially one by pioneer. Main reason I purchased this amp was the rms ratings matched what I already had. Right out of the box with default settings it pushed my polk audio 6.5 components in the front and my morel maximo 6 in the rear with ease and crisp, clean response I was impressed and rather shocked to know I was missing something when I turned this little beast on. My other amp was failing on the rear channel plus getting slight distortion on the front. Now, i'm sitting in the driver's seat feeling my hair fly back while smiling ear to ear.(old pioneer commercial) Only thing I do not like is how the rca inputs are on opposite side of the amp. Made my install a bit awkward looking with the setup I already had. Other than that, this thing is downright lean and mean...

Perfect 4 channel amp for the price, installation was great and professional looking

This is a nice quality amp. I installed it easily and it made a complete different with my aftermarket door speakers.

I purchased this amplifier to power four Alpine Type R 6x9s. The sound is super crisp, and I have pushed this amplifier hard every day for over one month without issue. Its size is slightly large in comparison to my Kicker 800.1, but it can easily mount to seats, under seats, or to an enclosure. This amplifier provides great value, as it is the only one in its price range to have solid reviews and 100w rms/channel. You will not be disappointed.

This is my first experience with an amp manufactured by Pioneer and I’m impressed so far. I like it so much that I’m thinking of buying another Pioneer amp to power the subs.

Great amp. Had it installed through BestBuy. They told me to go to a store to have it when it was really at a different store. Really appreciated the inconvenience and also how they scratched up my door. Will not consider them for the speaker install!

Excellent sounding and powerful amplifier. I compared it directly with an audison amplifier which cost twice the pioneer (though it was rated at 75x4), and there was virtually no difference between the 2. Maybe the Pioneer was a tiny bit less detailed, but you would have to really pay attention to notice the small difference. The Pioneer also did control the speakers slightly better at max volume, as it has more power. Definitely runs warm to hot, but never excessively & never went into protection mode. The only negative is the controls are on the sides, so making minor adjustments (which are an absolute must to set levels) is a bit of a pain once the amp is mounted. Anyway, highly recommend.

This amp hasn't given me any troubles. The sound quality is great, which is always a worry for me. It's not super bulky and finding a spot for it was very easy.

Fantastic amplifier, using for two 12” subwoofers in a trunk, and beats them better than ever before! Great for the price, and compact too!

More compact and powerful than GM-DX500 series amp it replaced. Vehicle system sounds wonderful now.

Is it good for the money- yes. Is it better then a stock stereo in your car- Most likely(a lot better then my 2007 dodge stock stereo). Is it as good as a 500 dollar JL one - no. It has a decent frequency response you’ll be able to play up to industry standard (16bit,44.1khz) recording quality if you have the speakers for it and givin your audio input is of the same quality or better. Its one part of a puzzel of sound. Make sure its the peice you want

installed in 2013 silverado with kiker s series 6.5 in doors also 10" kiker sub 250 w amp. pioneer 4 channel amp provides plenty of power clean & crisp. all in all very good amp i would purchass again

The only reason the review is four stars instead of five is because the first amplifier was shipped in original packaging and was missing parts. BestBuy quickly addressed the issue and had another shipped out and it arrived flawlessly. I have it installed and the power output and sound quality are on par with more expensive units. The amplifier runs cool and consistently.
