If you get a new 1080p hd tv and a Blue-Ray player then you should buy this 4 disc set. The picture quality is amazing. Beautiful views of landscapes rarely seen. Best DVD's to demo your new or existing home theater set up.

This series is awesome..... It brings your HD system to life and shows you what HD is all about. Hours and hours of entertainment. This series will show you that the Earth is a beautiful place and we need to save it.

I bought this on regular DVD and again on Blu-Ray. I Love this series and the Lions and the way they hunt is amazing they are truly the Kings of the Jungle.

The picture on this DVD jumps out of the screen. It is so crisp and clear. I cant wait to watch it again once I have it hooked up to my surround sound. The video that is captured on this is quite amazing.

Planet Earth is a really awesome series. It is one of the first tv series to come on to Blu-ray and it looks amazing. The way they capture everything on Earth is amazzingg and is a feast to your eyes.

Great DVD. Fliming is beyond great. Much information concerning the earth in general. Great edidting.

I started watching this series when it was aired on TV. I missed the majority because I started watching late. I could not wait for the DVD to come out -- I was hooked. The videography, sound, narrative.. is all very immpressive. Peter is a great narrator -- got to love that british accent. I have a plasma TV which makes the picture outstanding. This series is a must see.

This is truly an amazing piece of film-making, it really shows off the beauty of parts of our planet that we would never get to see otherwise. Looks fantastic in HD!

Great reference-quality bluray to calibrate or show off your system with. You don't have to be a nature buff to enjoy the smooth, pristine picture.
