Great series to watch at home with the family. Must have!!!!!

This series has easily been the best purchase I've made since picking up my Bluray player. Although movies look great,the Discovery channel was MADE for high def, the picture is extremely sharp and clear. I'm still in awe every time I watch an episode

if you have the money this dvd is well worth it. its seems like alot for a dvd but it has 9 episodes and each one better then the next.

Picture quality is amazing at 1080p but sound is ok.

I think the series is great! I love watching it in Blue Ray, you can't beat the clarity, even if you were there yourself!

Entertaining and educatinal at the same time. Planet Earth is a dvd set everyone should own.

Earth images really pop out at the viewer. The wildlife scenes are the best in my opinion. When the monkeys transcend over the sheer cliffs for better protection in unbelievably beautiful scenery. Recommend to all viewers. Lots of viewing time.

I got this blue ray believing that it was all about nature and beautiful sceneries. It was surprisingly sad to discover how cruel the production was, including footage of little baby animals being eating alive for predators. It is in a bad taste, and very very sad.

THis is not the TV version - that is a different one - PLANET EARTH by the Discovery channel is the good one, this one is narrated by somebody else. I thought i was getting the good TV version.... guess not.
