Screen blacking out

I’ve had this since August 2024 (so not even 6 full months) and it’s been giving me black screens since the start. At first I thought maybe I misinstalled a driver or something. Paid for a diagnostic and my card is faulty. Switched to a new PC and same issue. Incredibly frustrating. In the picture attached is my bfs set up and both screens should be on, it’ll flash off and on (I have video). It’s not the monitors, and everything has been checked down to the board itself and after 5 different diagnostics and switching it to another set up, it’s this gpu.

The most important aspect of this card is the 16gb of VRAM and frankly the regular version should have come with a higher amount than 8gb. I'm happy with it, but I wouldn't recommend this card for anything higher than 1080p and I'm iffy on 1440p in the long term.
I plan on sticking with 1080p and it's perfect for that, but reviewers use benchmarks for 4k and 1440p and the card is not future proofed in my opinion for 1440p and it obviously can't handle 4k because of the 128bit memory bus.
So if you plan on getting this card don't be surprised and disappointed with a lower framerate on higher resolutions. But again, for a resolution like 1080p it's perfect and will be great for a good number of years, I'm thinking easily 4-5 years.

The sweet spot of GPUs

The newer 40 series Nvidia cards have taken some criticism, mostly that they are only a small improvement over the last gen cards, and that they're too expensive. As for pricing, I'm not sure if anyone reviewing these card have noticed that literally everything is expensive now. As for the performance, this 4060 ti does everything I need it to. I game at 1440p with no issues, and DLSS is a game changer for the titles that support it, literally doubling frame rate in some cases. While other cards may have better performance, one fact often overlooked is the power consumption of these new card, this 4060 ti is drawing less power than my old 3060, while performing much better. The low power draw meant I didn't have to upgrade my power supply. While yes, it is expensive, it's also still a great card. If it were $100 less reviewers would be going crazy about it, but at the end of the day, you're going to use this card for years, and $100 on something that will last years isn't that much. Don't worry about the negative reviews, the actual performance is great.

Little Powerhouse for Mid-teir PC

Not a power house, but the power you need to run anything at 1080p. I have a 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate. I 1440p is the sweet spot for most gamers, but I'm happy with 1080p for the time being. This card could handle almost all titles at 1440p 60 fps, but I think you might be asking too much of it to go to 1440 80fps. That being said, I have seen it handle 4K 30-60 fps, but it is really a case by case basis. I would recommend 1080p any fps 100%, 1440p 60-80fps 100%, 4k <60fps 100%, but you will be relying on DLSS and Frame Generation for the boost you need.
It uses little power and gets the frames for your games. I think the price could come down some, but inflation is a terrible thing.

Great GPU, Overclocking?

This GPU is immensely not talked about enough. 16GB VRam, Base and Overclock speeds faster than the 4070, small enough to fit in Micro ATX builds. I'd highly recommend this GPU - especially if you're looking to build a 1440p Gaming PC under $1200 and want to remain a NVIDIA user. The only issue I've seem to run into is the overclocking is questionable. For some reason, GeForce Experience (as of now) doesn't support the OC mode of this 4060 Ti, but you can activate the OC in MSI Afterburner. Not sure if PNY made it difficult to OC just because it's a dual fan and not a triple fan but nonetheless I've received a 150% FPS increase without OC from my previous GPU (being the 3060). I've tested games such as Overwatch, Minecraft, Roblox, Raft, and a few other small titles and I've pretty much received pure V-Sync with two 1440p 165hz monitors. This GPU also works well with NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA G-Sync. However, I don't play any graphic intense games beyond what Overwatch requires so there may be limitations with bigger games such as Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2.
TLDR - Great GPU, tricky to OC, must have for entry level 1440p gamming if you you prefer NVIDIA.

As always one of Nvidia's lowest priced gaming GPU's really delivered in all area's for up to 2K monitor's. For under $450 this card really shines. For 1080P monitors the RTX 4060 is just fine, but we are using a 2K monitor so needed a little more power and the RTX 4060 TI is just perfect.

Just went from an AM4 system that had an RTX3060 to an AM5 system that has a Ryzen 7 7700x, 32GB of ddr 5 ram. I wanted to upgrade the GPU and got this one. It had more vram and better specs. It is working brilliantly. FPS on my games is better and I can do higher resolutions with the higher FPS.

ne of the best things about the 4070 is its price. It's currently available for around $500, which is a great value for the performance it offers. The 4070 is also very power efficient, so you won't need a huge power supply to run it.
If you're looking for a graphics card that can handle 1440p gaming and VR, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 is a great option. It's powerful, efficient, and affordable.
Here are some of the pros and cons of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070:
Pros:
Great performance for 1440p gaming, Capable of ray tracing, Good choice for VR gaming, Power efficient, and Affordable.
Cons:
Not as powerful as the RTX 4080 or RTX 4090
Not suitable for 4K gaming at max settings
Overall, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 is a great graphics card for 1440p gaming. It's powerful, efficient, and affordable. If you're looking for a graphics card that can handle the latest games at high settings, the 4070 is a great option.

Was looking to replace an aging 2060 for 2k gaming and this was perfect for what I needed. I can game at 4k but is a sweet spot for 2k on a 40” widescreen monitor. Full screen with no more black bars on the side! Plus can run COD at max settings and still get 100+ fps!

Runs everything I’ve put at it perfectly, the 16gb VRAM is perfect for my needs (AI can use quite a bit and i also play big skyrim modpacks). The low power consumption is awesome too, I have this running with a 7600x on just a 500W power supply with no issues.

Solid performance for a reasonable price. Fans are quiet, mid-range temperatures under heavy load, no hangs or freezes while playing MSFS 2020 on Ultra settings. (About 45 hrs. of heavy game use and 12 hrs. of design/image rendering)
