    Rocks My Pole Barn

This 29.5 lb little beast ROCKS my 32x40 pole-barn workshop with a receiver that's only 50 watts RMS per channel. The adjustments for frequency cut-off and volume allow me to dial in the (terrible, of course) acoustics of my woodworking, welding and spray-painting playhouse. It's 9 feet up on a shelf and non-directional, so out of harms way and truly sounds great!

I recently purchased this sub woofer for my new TV/family room setup. I have not owned Polk Audio speakers before - but boy, was I happy. This was a great value at just over $100. It's pretty big (but fits in my corner) and subsequently, pumps out a deep bass. Great way to round out the sound from my 7.1 system. I would recommend this to friends and colleagues and I might even get another one for my downstairs system.

I got this when BB had it on sale, I've been looking for a new Sub since my old Definitive Technology one died after 10+ years of service. Just be sure to go into your receiver settings and set your main speakers to "small" or whatever the equivalent is, or the sub just won't put out any sound. Seemed weird to me since I have Klipsch towers with dual 8" woofers so they're NOT small. But I wasn't getting any bass at all, except from the main speakers. Made the change and now I get some real nice bass, just what I was looking for.

After my decade old Yamaha sub bought the farm, I needed a replacement sub for my surround sound system. This was the cheapest one that Bestbuy had in stock, and I was pleasantly surprised. For the money I payed, it was more than adequate, based on what I was expecting. Let's be honest here folks, if you want your windows to rattle, if you want the screws in your framework to come loose, and if you want your neighbors two houses down to wonder what that incessant thumping is...this is not the sub for you. If you simply want your movies, games, and music to have a decent sound, then this is a great purchase. You get what you pay for in the audio-world, and for what I paid, this is certainly acceptable.

Amazing sound, great for my living room. Deep bass, sounds that makes my sofa tremble. I love it! I paired it with a Denon 7.2 receiver with 160watts per channel and it works amazing

So far a good value subwoofer replacement, excellent bass and effect's for 5.1 surround sound. I have a subwoofer output on the Pioneer Receiver so did not need the R/L splitter. Plug directly into the R or L channel either will work. It will rubble the house. I would recommend giving it a try and good pricing.

Purchased this product due to brand loyalty. Not disappointed at all! Did have to return the first unit purchased as one of the dials turned with difficulty. Small yet sufficient source of lows to complete my home theater. Much more enjoyable to view my favorite action movies.

Decent subwoofer at a really good price. The room I had it in is really big I felt it wasn't putting out enough power. I ended up returning this model for a bigger 12" sub. For the average sized room this is a perfect subwoofer, especially if you are upgrading your HTIB sub.

I upgraded from a complete speaker set that I purchased 15 years ago. This allowed me to go from an 8 inch 50 watt speaker to a 10 inch 100 watt speaker. There was a massive improvement in sound quality. This gives you plenty of thump without going to overboard with a larger speaker. This is more then enough for your average size space.

Bought this to replace my 20 yr old Infinity 10" powered subwoofer which was 150w rms and 300w peek power. I wasn't sure this would work since it's 50w rms and 100w peek power, but I took a chance since I got it on sale for $150. I will say this thing rocks my house. I can't believe how much power comes out of this. I find it just as good as my Infinity woofer. I can't tell the difference. I live in a twin, my house is 2000 sq ft and when I crank this up the whole house shakes. My living room is 15x18 which is a good size and I this woofer is awesome, It even shakes my neighbors house, I found that out when they complained when I was not home and my son was cranking his music. I read the reviews and the people who say it lacks power must have had a defective one for sure, This is an awesome woofer and totally worth the money, even at full price at $200. If I new it was this good I would not have waited 2 months for it to go on sale to buy it, I would have just paid full price.

There are better subs out there that have several fold more power and respond well below the 35 Hz that the PSW108 minimum frequency is rated at. Unfortunately I can't afford those subs and find this sub is more than enough for a small to medium size room.

I bought this for my bedroom to have a small theater system in there. I'd say this sub was more than enough to fill my room. It'll get pretty loud and has a decent bass tone. I'd recommend for budget home audio and small home theater settings.

Excellent speaker for my surround sound amp. Great lows with plenty of sound. Makes everything that we watch sound better, whether it be te!evision, streaming, or DVD\blue ray, no drop in volume or bass. Easy to set up and appears unobtrusive in our living room. I have no negatives to express for this speaker. For its price, it's a winner.

My first subwoofer I've ever owned... Still testing it with Polk Audio Bookshelf speakers... Sound is deep and good....Not sure what will happen if I crank it up to 100%....I'm saving that for STARWARS movie...It's connected to THX Onkyo Amplifier

Worked great with my older sony reciever. Added plenty of thunder. Love the adjustments on the back of the unit makes set up easier and the power saving feature will shut off automatically when the reciever is shut off.
