Excellent bass and easy to use controls and setup. Very easy to turn down the level of bass on the back and very responsive and clean sounding bass.

We are very happy with this subwoofer. Excellent sound quality--it really makes the audio pop. A nice feature is that it doesn't need to be powered off--it turns itself on when it senses a signal, and then shuts off when there is not signal.

I really enjoyed adding this to my stereo system, and has added some deep base to my already great polk system

This subwoofer is amazing. I needed a small footprint and this almost bookshelf subwoofer fits nicely and has great bass. Crisp, loud and out of site! The price is amazingly low for such s good product.

Got this sub-woofer on sale, great bargain. Works very well with a 5.1 in-wall Klipsch speaker system in a dedicated media room. The bass levels are just right for movie watching and not overwhelmingly loud and deep. Very good performance for the money. if your looking for the obnoxiously loud, shake the paint off your walls bass then this sub-woofer is not for you. Look no further if your looking for a good sound with a budget in mind.

works great w/my system updating iam doing.along w/the polk t15 bookshelf speakers and my onkyo receiver.only wish it had better instructions,their lousey,cant figure out the right toggle(looking from the back,and even sfter talking to onkyo and being sent a fiber optics cable,still couldn't pair the speakers,fillay got it,system works great now!!

I'm a newbie in sound system, but before I purchased this product I made sure to search for reviews and feedback that people gave online. It was on sale and it was one of the cheapest that I found, with good reviews I decided to purchase this product. At first I thought it's just one of those that you can enjoy now and then later on you can give away because you have no more use for it. When my roommate and I tested it with our bose speakers connected to the new amp, we were blown away with the quality of sound this subwoofer produced. With the kind of bass power it gives our movie watching and music playing became more lively and entertaining. Polk Audio subwoofer gives quality sound that complements the quality of our bose speakers, we're actually very happy with it.

Purchased for our game room. Works well, nice tight base, not overpowering. Easy to connect, installed in minutes.

Bought this subwoofer after I returned the weaker Sony version. This your my second Polk woofer. The old one lasted 7yrs and I watch a lot of TV. Good bass sound without distortion

This is a great addition to any sound system. It also has *two* line-in ports so you can double the input. The sound is crystal clear, and the box that holds the subwoofer doesn't shake out of control. It's a very solid piece of hardware. I would suggest if you live in an apartment or with other people, that you keep the volume at half at most if you use max sub preamp on your receiver. It also has standard speaker cables for the old school hardware. Unlike many closed designs that overheat with constant use, this thing can handle most of what you throw at it. Just keep an eye on the crossover, because the bass will drown out your other audio if it's set to over 100hz.

Great speaker and has a lot of bass. My walls are shaking in the basement. Packs a punch was not expecting that!

In reading this review keep in mind this is an inexpensive 10" sub. If you are expecting the same level of base you get in a movie theater forget it. The problem is not with the speaker but with your unrealistic expectations. This sub for its size delivers good sound, and you will enjoy the addition to your system, particularly in a mid-sized room. You're not going to get booming chest thumping bass but you will get reasonable low end that most people can live with. If you're an audiophile for movies or music then save some more $$ get a bigger more expensive speaker.
