I have this sub paired with a Onkyo Dolby Atmos Receiver which is calibrated at 100hz. The sub is set at 100hz with the volume just a hair past 1/2. The phase switch is at zero. When watching a 4K Ultra HD Dolby Atmos movie it blows you away. Even if you don't have Atmos it will still spin your top. I have a separate volume control on the amp for the sub woofer so if it needs a little tweaking I can do it remotely. I wasn't sure about purchasing it at first but hearing that Polk made quality speakers I took a chance. Definitely top drawer and will not disappoint even the pickiest audiophiles. 5 *****'s only because there aren't 6. Highly recommended.

I picked this up on a whim, while on sale. Despite the sales person originally stating that a subwoofer could not be added on to my soundbar, I spoke to someone else who directed me, and at the time this was the same price as one I was looking at but far less powerful. Its loud... shakes the walls when full blast, and I find myself having to hold back due to my neighbors in the complex. A good buy.

It has good adjustments for the base, and the sound is excellent for the price range.

This speaker is a replacement unit for a 26 year old subwoofer that became less powerful. So far, the Polk unit is performing as expected, thoroughly enjoying my music again, with the windows rattling.

I bought this one to replace the old 50watt Sony that I had been hanging on for years. I first purchased the 400 watt and it was way too much for what I wanted. So I returned it and bought this one. Perfect sound. Deep bass... only one complaint was I bought the rocketfish wireless sub kit and it had a lot of feedback... but that was not the fault of the sub...

This was a great option for us since we wanted a quality subwoofer without breaking the bank! Works very well with our home theater system.

This thing thumps! Maybe because I'm new to having subwoofers in my theater setup(which isn't setup correctly yet). I have a Sony Compact AV System in my family room. It is a DAV-C770 that has five excellent sounding 3.5" speakers with one subwoofer that makes a movie a little better sounding but in my basement is where the other more serious sounding system is. I have the Polk Audio PSW108 and a PSW10 both setup down there and it sounds good now. Like I said, nothing is in the right place and setup properly but watching the Mandalorian one night down there was all I needed to know what it will sound like.

Good deal from Best Buy around Black Friday to add this to the matching Polk T50 speakers and center speaker. As they are part of the same series they truly complement each other... this subwoofer provides the right amount of deep bass for music and movies. Enough to give my son a headache as the subwoofer sits above his room.

This was the first time I had set out to purchase a home sound system for both TV and music. My initial and main use is for music, and I was definitely blown back by the power in the bass. I saw this was on sale and had to jump on it, for I had also chose to purchase some Polk Audio speakers, so I figured what better than a Polk Audio subwoofer. The bass is so powerful it rattles the entire apartment, and that's not even close to being full volume. I'm not a huge audio person, but I do like some strong bass and this delivered. Also while playing video games or watching TV, the explosions sound great. Definitely worth the price.
